I love seeing some of the crazy emails sent to Mikey Weinstein of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation. His latest bit of stupid comes from a guy who calls himself Mevashir. He is a Messianic Jew, better known as a Christian. In his first email, he wondered why Mikey was appearing at an atheist event:
I see that Mikey Weinstein is on your roster of guest speakers who will be coming to Denver.
I thought Weinstein is an observant Jew?
Is he really an atheist?
I certainly hope not.
Shalom baShem Yeshua – Peace in the Name of Jesus!
Mikey wrote back and informed the guy that he is a “Jagnostic” — a Jewish agnostic. And that prompted a delightfully idiotic response:
Thanks for writing back.
Sorry to get your goat, but that’s what Jews are good at, aren’t we?!
It’s called chutzpah, and you cannot be surprised to see that you have not cornered the market on it!
Anyway, I am glad to finally meet you.
I am a Jewish evangelist. I just moved to the Denver area. I have met an Air Force doctor named Bob something who converted to Judaism. He had been a Baptist minister beforehand. Perhaps you know him? (He lives in Denver and works in the Springs.)
My friends and I look forward to meeting you at the convention. Providentially it occurs on my birthday, and Hashem could not have given me a better birthday present than to engage with lost sheep from the House of Israel.
If you think we are wimps, think again. We love fighting against the evil demonic spirits that have confused good people like you, Richard Dawkins, and Jessica Ahlquist from Rhode Island.
We pray for ya’all to recover your sanity and to recognize your Creator God. If we don’t glorify Him in our thoughts words and actions, what is the point of our existence anyway?
Here are some links to soften up your soul before we meet in September, God willing. May you have a refuah sheleimah, a perfect healing from our Mighty Creator God! Amen.

3. A great movie from a genuine Jewish hero, Ben Stein (former speech writer for Pres. Nixon, so you should be able to respect him): Expelled.
Sincerely Looking Forward to Meeting You,
He thinks Ben Stein is a “genuine Jewish hero.” Nuff said. Mikey told him to stop emailing him, using some colorful language in the process (as he, like me, is wont to do). And the guy seems to think this has some legal ramifications:
Do you know what the legal ramifications of your verbal attack on me might be? Did I write ugly curse words to you? Why do you think you can respond to me with such vile immature and disrespectful language?
You are an attorney.
(I will stop writing to you as soon as you explain the legal justification you have to employ abusive language against me. It does not bother me, since I know it is the demon spirit inside of you. But I am concerned for your soul.)
Dear fucking moron: Why would one need a legal justification for what they say to you? Being called a fucking moron does not violate your rights. Mikey can call you whatever names he wants to call you. And only an idiot would think that curse words need some legal justification.
