Bradlee Dean continues to be a reliable fountain of stupidity in his Worldnutdaily columns. This time he’s screaming “The Muslims are coming, the Muslims are coming!” He says, with no evidence at all, that Muslims have infiltrated our schools and are teaching kids to be jihadists.
Interestingly enough, in recent years American public schools have been indoctrinated with the Muslim religion. Studies have shown over 500 historical errors in public school textbooks, giving an Islamic slant to our youth.
As a result, our youth are subject to the following teachings and practices:
- Learning to become a Muslim
- Fasting for Ramadan
- Learning the five pillars of Islam
- Memorizing verses of the Quran
- Adopting a Muslim name
- Staging a Jihad (war against non-Muslims)
How did this happen? The ACLU, the American Muslim Council, Americans United for Separation of Church and State and the Clinton administration joined together to create an evironment that opened the door to Muslim teaching, while attacking anyone who speaks of the Christian religion in public schools.
Uh, right. That would explain why the ACLU filed — and won — a federal lawsuit to prevent a Muslim charter school in Minnesota from violating the Establishment Clause (in fact, the school had to close down as a result of the litigation). Because you know how much the ACLU would just love a Muslim government that put gay people to death and oppressed women.
This is also why the ACLU quickly represents Muslims while refusing to defend Christians who practice their faith … in public schools.
Uh, right. Except for the dozens of street preachers the ACLU has defended over the years. And their support of students who wear anti-gay t-shirts. And their defense of students who handed out candy canes with Bible verses on them. And of churches who want to use public parks to perform baptisms. Perhaps most ironically, their defense of the right of Christian students to wear anti-Islam t-shirts. I mean, other than dozens and dozens of other examples, he’d almost be right.
