Welcome, Yemisi Ilesanmi

We’re very excited to have a new blogger on the network, Yemisi Ilesanmi. Yemisi’s story is a pretty remarkable one. She’s from Nigeria but now lives in the UK, where she is a human rights activist and author. She’s also a poet, so Cuttlefish finally has a little competition. Check out the new blog.

It’s nice to see a new blogger, but it’ll be even nicer if she can get added to the main page, which is so out of date as to be ridiculous. By my count on the main page we have:

    Four officially extinct blogs:

    Non Stamp Collector

    Natalie Reed

    Token Skeptic

    Hank Fox

Five moribund with no posts in a while:

    Alethian Worldview

Blag Hag (with an explanation posted)

Rock Beyond Belief (one recent post)

    Edwin Kagan

    Assassin Actual (explanation posted)

And one very active but pretty much non-contributing:

    Comradde Physioproffe

And I seem to recall another “welcome” post from a few weeks ago but since the blogger never showed up on the main page, I can’t be sure.

We can haz blog page maintenance, pleeze? Like get rid of the dead ones and move the more active ones up?

Make that six moribund: Christina Rad

  • http://www.patheos.com/blogs/dispatches Ed Brayton

The whole front page is being redesigned and should be done in the next couple weeks (fingers crossed).

    Thanks Ed! Good to know.

Thanks goodness. I was going to say the same thing.

    This has gotten beyond ridiculous.

I am certainly willing to welcome – but would be nice to be able to find them as well.
