Bryan Fischer delivers a diatribe about how much he loves gay people, how he’s sad when he sees them “falling prey to that disease; there’s a sickness there, there is a pathology associated with homosexual behavior.” Then he diagnoses millions of people he’s never met:
“You know, these are not happy people. They are not well-adjusted people and it just breaks your heart to see what this perverted sense of sexuality is doing to them” because it is “destroying their humanity.”
Really, Bryan? I know lots of happy, well-adjusted gay people. And lots of unhappy, seriously disturbed and messed up straight people. But it would never occur to me that I should tell those people that they should change their sexuality because I “love” them. The only one with a perverted sense of sexuality here is you.
