Klingenschmitt: Feds May Kill Bundy Ranch People

Gordon Klingenschmitt’s grasp on reality has never been very strong, especially when he can find some way to spin a weird conspiracy theory and pose as the victim of persecution. Now he’s transferring that to Clive Bundy, saying that the feds may kill everyone there and bury them in a mass grave.

“Dr. Chaps” AHAHAHAHAHA! I haven’t even opened the video yet and already I’m laughing at this simpleton. And he is really stupid. Now I’ll watch for more guffaws.

  • jamessweet

I think the feds have learned their lesson (at least until the next time they forget) after Ruby Ridge and Waco. Still, it’s not entirely crazy to think that the gov’t might go in with guns blazing. I think it’s extremely unlikely, but there is precedent for it.

The “mass grave” shit is just crazy.

  • trog69

What a despicable reach for the conspiracy theory crowd and fomenting paranoia in his certainly older followers. It’s what he has to do to keep the dollars flowing in, ’cause he sure as hell isn’t interested in actual work for a living.

Klingenschmitt is just late in catching up with the Bundy Bunch rumor mill.

(Schadenfreude fans may want to click that link for some lulz about the Deep Rifts between the “militia” and “Oath Keepers” factions in the Klark Kounty Krazies – it will make you appreciate the professionalism and strategic genius of the Whiskey Rebellion by comparison.)

I’ve seen a post recently indicating that some of these “militias” have taken it upon themselves to set up armed “checkpoints” on public highways, something no civilian has any legal right whatsoever to do. If they are in fact doing this, an armed response from law enforcement or even the National Guard should be the least they can expect. And if it happens, it’s their own dumbass redneck fault for going full domestic terrorist.

He’s “encouraging people to go out to Nevada to stand watch…”

He’s not going to join them of course. He’s not that stupid.

Look, Ed, it only sounds crazy because it is.

  • sigurd jorsalfar

How does Klingenschmitt know? Because it’s what he would do if he were President and a bunch of hippies were living on a ranch like that and refusing to take baths.

  • sigurd jorsalfar

And just to add insult to injury, the Feds won’t bury Bundy in Nevada. They’ll bury him somewhere in the United States.

  • Azkyroth Drinked the Grammar Too :)

    If only.

So we have a US military veteran supporting armed rebellion against his own government for trying to enforce the law. That is a sad state of affairs.

I’m not sure why, but looking at that still of the video, I feel deep yearnings and a line from somewhere in the past springs into my head:

“You got a REAL purty mouth.”

    @6:

Correct small arm. Wrong weapons system.

This one works better and is a lot less likely to get shot down.

I love Warthogs, but this really isn’t a job for 30 mm rounds at 6000/minute.

Now, a chain gun is getting closer. But if these Yahoos think that they’re snipers, I’m afraid the Army has some education to do. Last I looked the Real Deal can deliver a round to a 10 cm CEP from over a kilometer. No warning — you bring a weapon to bear and the next thing anyone knows your corpse is heading for the ground.

Let’s not go there. Because once that shit starts, there are going to be some orphans and no promises whose. Better to get plenty of evidence and the next time they go to town, they get picked up with a warrant all nice and proper. Meanwhile, that part of Nevada gets pretty warm before come summer.

Old news by a day. Now they are setting up surveillance points on the high ground above the freeway, I-15.

Today it is supposed to be 93 F in the aptly named Bunkerville. 99 degrees F., tomorrow. In the summer it will be a lot over 100 F.

The feds should just let them bake in the sun for a few months. They are likely to wear out their welcome in Bunkerville or start doing stuff that makes them look like the kooks they are. These people aren’t smart or all that civilized.

At this point, the best thing the government can do is just wait things out. With some of the militia types already threatening to shoot the Oath Keepers in the back, it’s only a matter of time for these loons to turn on each other. I’ll give it month tops before they start killing themselves.

    Like the Taliban do?

  • http://en.uncyclopedia.co/wiki/User:Modusoperandi Modusoperandi

It’s all a False Flag operation. These so-called “American Patriots” involved in the standoff are really government operatives, who set this up to make crazy people look crazy.

  • LightningRose

Klingingshit should head on down there and offer himself up as a human shield.

Surely out of respect for a former military and man of the cloth no federal agent would shoot him.

  • nrdo

The notion of them setting up checkpoints and stopping other citizens is absolutely astonishing. I can’t believe the authorities are not responding to that. Perhaps it’s best to wait them out, but I personally would send a few tanks to just roll in, watch them scatter like cockroaches, squish a few of their pickup trucks into pancakes, and then rumble away. No shooting or shouting, just say it with flowers tanks.

  • vmanis1

I vote for the method used to force Manuel Noriega to surrender. Really awful music played very loud. After 6 hours of `My Heart Will Go On’ at 100db, I would do anything demanded of me.

  • Trebuchet

A little bit off topic, but I’ve had a glass or two and am feeling the need to rant.

This is the second post today by Ed calling Bundy “Clive”. It’s “Cliven”, which is a silly name but that’s what it is. CNN can get it right. The RWW post Ed links to has it right. Faux News can get it right, for FSM’s sake.

This upsets me. We expect lies and inaccuracies from the RightWingNuts. We should be better. We should be ACCURATE.

I have, on more than one occasion, accused Comradde Physioproffe of being lazy for just posting a long headline as a link. This is worse. It’s not paying attention. It’s posting without thinking. Autorcorrect did it to you? Worse yet. Be responsible for your content. Put a little effort into it. Please.

  • sundiver

I think Raven, D.C. and d.c. got it about right. Just wait them out. They’ll get tired of playing army once the real Nevada Summer heat kicks in.

Who isn’t waiting for one of these Bundy Ranch fanboys to accidentally shoot another one while cleaning his gun?

  • Ichthyic

nothing says “we live in a nation of laws” better than not applying the law and letting people shoot each other.

    yup.

it’s entirely sad, but expected, that the US is devolving to a state where not only are there militias running around like headless chickens, but people are encouraging their government to do nothing about it, and hoping it will come to violence.

just another point on my list of a thousand reasons why I left the US five years ago.

Not only will “Obummer’s” atheist muslim shock troops bury them in a mass grave, he’ll make sure they don’t even read the dead their last rites. Oh, the torment they’ll endure.

  • comfychair

What peaceful solution is there when a bunch of armed nutjobs are fully committed to martyrdom? They don’t seem much interested in winning, only in provoking a fight.

  • StevoR : Free West Papua, free Tibet, let the Chagossians return!

@11. Azkyroth Drinked the Grammar Too : “If only.”

If only Cliven Budy and his followers get murdered and buried in a mass grave!?

Seriously? I’m no fan of Bundy and co but they don’t deserve that and not do I think that would help.

That’s barbaric – and to think you sanctimoneously consider yourself ethically superior to me & colnago80 among others. There’s the proof you ain’t.

  • Al Dente

    StevoR @28

to think you sanctimoneously consider yourself ethically superior to me & colnago80

It’s not hard to be ethically superior to either of you fuckers. Just not being a sociopath is sufficient.

Huh? Obama made sure Osama bin Laden got a proper Islamic burial and rites before they turned his stinking carcass into fish food.

So, no, I don’t think so. I’d expect if Bundy does get killed in a shoot-out with the feds they’ll give his corpse the proper and appropriate funeral rites. Probably.

  • StevoR : Free West Papua, free Tibet, let the Chagossians return!

@29. Al Dente : Yeah, you keep telling yourself that, dude.

It won’t make it true though.
