Bryan Fischer’s ‘Insider Sources’

Bryan Fischer took a call from a dolt who thought King George was Catholic (Bzzt. Retake history) and that Obama is a “Muslim double agent” and he claimed to have talked to “insiders in D.C.” who told him that “everyone” in Washington knows that Obama is secretly a Muslim. I’m guessing he is referring to the voices in his head.

Obama has an “antipathy” for the Christian religion, sayeth Bryan – so much so that he got married in that religion, worships in that religion and had his daughters baptized in that religion. Wow, that really does prove he’s a super-secret double agent Muslim who’s trying to take down the country through a rising stock market, lowering deficits and unemployment, and expanded healthcare coverage – the weapons of all tyrants.

Oh, and the irony of “King George was a Catholic” is just too freakin’ perfect. Umm, look up “the Hanoverian Succession” and learn, dear caller.

If everyone knows that Obama is a Muslim – then wouldn’t he be a really shitty “secret” Muslim.

Besides which – so the fuck what? If Obama were Muslim, then what would be the problem?

I’m guessing he is referring to the voices in his head.

Probably referring to all of the people from the Tea Party that got elected.

  • sh3baproject

    insiders?

i think hes refering to the batshit crazy right winged people in congress. why they chose to tell him is another matter.

    Kevin, Youhao Huo Mao, #2:

Yeah, that’s my question, too. It’s one thing, way back in 2008, for the paranoid constituency to worry about what a Muslim president might mean in terms of public policy that would affect us all.

But now, in 2014? Now they actually have real policy proposals — some enacted, other attempted — to criticize on their own merits. Muslimness has now become irrelevant.

AFAIK, the last British monarch who was a Catholic was James II who was deposed in 1688 after Parliament passed a law barring Catholics from ascending to the throne.

  • dingojack

Perhaps the caller meant that Obama is a secret Muslim to exactly the same degree that George III was a Catholic.

    @Chiroptera:

I’d like to think the voting populous is enlightened enough to accept a non-Christian president, but then I take a look at how they reacted to a black president…

  • alanb

Look, I’ve talked to insiders in George’s Court who told me that everyone in Windsor knows that George is secretly a Catholic. Do you have any evidence that he’s not?

I’d like to think the voting populous is enlightened enough to accept a non-Christian president, but then I take a look at how they reacted to a black president…

Well, many of them did vote for Romney….

Yeah, if there was a choice between voting for a Muslim of color who hates gay people and loves fetuses versus a more “moderate” white RINO, I know which way the Tea Partyistas would vote.

  • dingojack

alanb – He’s not even a year old, how do these unnamed sources know?

Jeeze. It’s like muslim and islam are key words for activation of post-hypnotic suggestion. And what does it produce? Aim-able fear. But, a kind of fear that is completely useless, and only serves to feed itself without enacting any real relief.

Also, anyone else catch that half-hearted godwin right at the start?

Obama won because god wanted a xian for president!!!

    Pew poll 2012:

Nearly two-thirds of non-Mormons said they see Romney’s faith as very different from their own while just half consider it a Christian faith.

Romney is a Mormon, not a xian. This is opinion because there is no xian central so that is all anyone has.

    1. Nevertheless, half of all US xians don’t think they are xians. It’s 3/4 for the clergy, including the Pope, the people who get paid for deciding these things.

    2. The Mormons agree. They just disagree on who are the True Xians. They claim as doctrine that only Mormons are True Xians.

While they claim discrimination and bigotry, they are champions are giving it right back to Gentiles, their word for…Christians.

Though Mormons consider the Bible as scripture (insofar as it is translated … Mormons do not accept non-Mormon baptism nor do non-Mormon Christians usually …..

One way to get an idea of what sects think about each other, is to see if they accept other’s Baptisms.

Baptism in the mythology, is a critical rite of membership and salvation. Mormons don’t accept other baptisms and most xian sects don’t accept theirs, including the Catholics. The RCC does accept Protestant baptisms.

Brian has a perfectly good inside source, his ideas come straight from his colon and you can’t get more inside than that.

George I became king precisely because he *wasn’t* Catholic. A long string of people with closer claims were skipped over because they were Catholic, and George’s mother Sophia was the closest Protestant to Queen Anne.
