Pastor Wants Gay People Jailed for Ten Years

Pastor Michael Williams, the man behind the website PreachingPolitics.com, is sick and tired of Christians being tolerant of homosexuals. The time has come, he says, to pass a constitutional amendment putting gay people in prison for ten years to stop the scourge of The Gay.

“Whereas homosexuality used to be a felony in every state — referred to as sodomy — it has now been decriminalized, and homosexuality is allowed to be openly expressed in public,” he notes. “While Christians are becoming increasingly tolerant of homosexuals, homosexuals are becoming increasingly intolerant of us.”

“It’s time for Christians to resume obeying God and his word, and to re-criminalize homosexuality, outlaw it again,” the pastor continues. “The only way to do this and keep it beyond the reach of activist judges and unaccountable bureaucrats is to create a constitutional amendment.”

Williams’ proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution declares that the “United States of America is a Christian nation with Judeo-Christian ethics, morals, principles and values.”

And it decrees that the “practice of homosexuality in the United States of America and in all its territories and possessions, and in all its States, Counties and Cities shall be a felony punishable by ten years in prison at hard labor.”

I sure hope that the God-Fearing owners of Chik-Fil-A (and lots of other billionaires on the Right) give him everything he needs to get this issue into every election this November.

““While Christians are becoming increasingly tolerant of homosexuals, homosexuals are becoming increasingly intolerant of us.”

No, Michael, just of you. And you certainly validate that lack of tolerance by your stupidity and ignorance.

and homosexuality is allowed to be openly expressed in public

I know, right??? Why, I passed three sets of guys enthusiastically sodomizing each other during my walk to the corner store for cigs just last night!!

Oh. He means gay people are allowed to walk around free without being jailed or lying about who they are.

You know what’s starting to make a lot of sense to me? How about a Constitutional Amendment decrying the social harm brought by bigot christians and mandating a decade behind bars for being an intolerant, hate-filled Ass For Jesus™.

Sorry, in at least one State, Virginia, sodomy is defined as non-PIV (penis in vagina) intercourse. Thus, oral sex, in Virginia is defined as sodomy. Marv Albert knows all about it.

Williams’ proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution declares that the “United States of America is a Christian nation with Judeo-Christian ethics, morals, principles and values.”

But oddly neither criminalizes lending money for interest nor legalises slavery.

“While Christians are becoming increasingly tolerant of homosexuals, homosexuals are becoming increasingly intolerant of us.”

No, homosexuals are not becoming increasingly intolerant of Christians, they’re becoming increasingly intolerant of bigots – Christian or otherwise.

Un-bigoted Christian? No problem. Bigoted non-Christian? Problem. It’s not the religion that’s the problem, it’s the abhorrent attitude that’s the problem.

    1. How are they going to do that? I thought xians were a persecuted minority on their way to the FEMA camps!!!

    2. They really can’t keep their stories straight for more than a few minutes.

    3. This is just the usual. Xian hate, it’s not just for breakfast any more.

Want that law all you want, Pastor Williams. I want a solid gold toilet. Neither are ever going to happen.

  • erichoug

I really don’t think these people ever think this stuff through.

How, exactly is that going to work? Are you going to have informants? Are you going to operate sting operations? That ought to be funny.

I strongly suspect that even back when you could be arrested for gay sex, most cops really weren’t comfortable doing so, for a variety of reasons some of them more stand up that others.

Donnie @ # 4 – You mean in Virginia it’s legal for the woman to be on top??!!!1?

    Virginia is for PERVERTS!

  • caseloweraz

Sure, that would work. When those gays got out of prison after ten years, there would be no more gayness in them, amirite? Also they would be totally upstanding citizens whom the mere thought of breaking any law would send into convulsions. And think of the extra prisons to be built, job creators!

    Yeah, that’s the ticket!

In a moment of sheer bodily ecstasy during self-gratification and purely hedonistic pleasure, this ‘idea’ just popped into his head and he just had to follow through on it…and man does it stink!

But it reveals the true face of xtian ‘lurve’ …one wonders considering the bile and spite this snake oil peddlar spits that maybe the problem is that no one is willing to ‘lift his baggage’ …that might well give rise to a little resentment and envy!

    He’s gay.

#12 & #13- the “lol homophobics are gay” pejorative will find little support here.

So anyway, I wonder which 38 states will ratify? It’s the flip side of “Repeal the Second Amendment!” You start out strong, but right around halfway to completion, things start to get pretty dicey…

    Donnie @ 4,

Virginia wasn’t alone. According to wikipedia at least 21 states included some form(s) of sexual activity between opposite sex couples in their sodomy laws. Of those 21, 17 covered married couples…and 15 of those banned oral sex between married couples at some point.

In short, if you’re American, there’s an astonishingly high probability either one of your two parents, or one of your four grandparents, committed a sex crime…and yet they tell us America is in moral decline!

I like what they do with fags anyway. Their punishment is quite correct. They throw them in jail with a lot of men. Very clever.

“Now in Georgia, if you’re caught for sodomy they’re going to put you in a cell with someone who’s going to sodomize you. That’s Southern logic.” — Robin Williams

  • John Pieret

Yep. If passed, it would rank up there with Article 1, Section 2, Paragraph 3 of the Constitution. Fortunately, it’ll pass about the same time as the Rapture … and would not, of course, pass after the Rapture.

I have to admit that it is a nice touch that the proposed amendment will take effect on the first Sunday after it is approved.

But please! Everyone who agrees with Pastor Michael Williams, do as he says and DO NOT vote for ANY politician who will not publicly state that s/he enthusiastically supports and will work diligently to pass this amendment! Thank you … thank you very much!
