Duck Dynasty: America is Just Like Nazi Germany

Alan Robertson, one of the family of duck-hunting douchebags that collectively don’t have the IQ of a pot roast, says that because of those quickly-withdrawn subpoenas in Houston, America reminds him of Nazi Germany. Oh, and Satan is attacking his family because they’re truth-tellers.

In an appearance yesterday on “Washington Watch,” Robertson spoke with Family Research Council President Tony Perkins about the Houston case in which a group of pastors sued the city to demand that it accept their petitions challenging a nondiscrimination ordinance, and in turn lawyers working for the city issued subpoenas — which have since been since withdrawn — for the communications of the pastors who led the petition drive.

“When I first heard about this and when you and I talked, I was just like, is this 2014 America or is this 1930s Germany that we’re living in? I mean, it was shocking and appalling,” Robertson said, warning that “our spiritual and religious liberties” are under attack.

He later told Perkins that “the Evil One” is coming after his family and others who are criticized for “telling the truth.”

Maybe one of them will either turn out to be a child molester or start dating one. That seems to be the way that reality TV shows die these days.

If the US is like nazi Germany, then it’s the white, christian, elite that are the party. He’s calling himself a nazi. That’s a special own-godwin-goal maneuver!!

Wait, is he talking about Satan or Obama?

(Trick question: they are the same person)

Funny how the poor, oppressed Robertsons still have a TV show, and get favourable cover articles on celeb mags like US. I’d hate to see what would happen if Satan put some real effort into going after them.

Riiight…. Just like 1930s Germany… The jack-booted lawyers will be breaking down his door any minute now, taking him and his family out in the street and beating them up with rolled up court documents.

…says that because of those quickly-withdrawn subpoenas in Houston, America reminds him of Nazi Germany.

Yes, if there is one thing that I remember about Nazi Germany, it’s the many, many times that Jews were served with subpoenas that were then quickly withdrawn after a public outcry.

Jack boots? … phah! $150 Kenneth Cole wing tips. And we have ex-cop investigators to do the actual beating. The only risk of physical injury from the lawyers would be if someone cut themselves on the lawyers’ razor-thin watches.

#5 – yes, that was the notorious Night of Shredded Paper.

But remember, it’s the liberals who hate America and believe it’s responsible for all the evils in the world. When conservatives compare America to Nazi Germany, they are still patriots who love America because…fuck it, I give up.

I wonder which US city reminds him of Dresden.

I am afraid, all kidding aside, that that would have to be Detroit. Although I have visited both cities in recent years, and Dresden is looking a lot better these days.
