Lively: Attacks on Cosby Are Marxist

It turns out that Scott Lively doesn’t just say astonishingly stupid things about The Gay, he says astonishingly stupid things about virtually everything. His latest head-scratching verbal vomit is about the rape accusations against Bill Cosby, which he thinks is part of a Marxist plot to destroy America. Stop laughing, he’s serious:

I’m not entirely certain that Bill Cosby is innocent. It could be that his accusers are telling the truth, but I’m giving Mr. Cosby the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty is still an important principle in our law and culture, notwithstanding the conclusions of CNN’s producers.

What tips the scale for me in Mr. Cosby’s favor is the timing of these accusations. It seems awfully suspicious that the bravest black man in America on the issue of irresponsible black youth and their adult enablers was suddenly re-ensnared in an old scandal just when President Obama and his Marxist fellow-travelers were ginning up a race war in Ferguson, Missouri, by inflaming racial hatred among irresponsible black youths and their adult enablers.

At least these leftist agitators are consistent: It’s “lynch mob justice” for anyone for whom an assumption of guilt serves the Marxist agenda, whether it’s a white police officer or an iconic black civil rights hero. (Remember, they did the same thing to Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain.)

The Marxist agenda in America is largely the design of Herbert Marcuse, darling of 1960s radicals. His recipe for destroying America was three-pronged: elimination of the natural family (primarily through the LGBT movement), elimination of the “patriarchal society” and male authority (the radical feminist movement) and elimination of the cultural “melting pot” (through “multi-culturalism” and racial conflicts).

In Cosby the Marxists get a “threefer.” Here is a man whose career promoting a healthy image of the natural family has served as a bridge across the black/white racial divide.

By stirring up deep-rooted feminist resentments and unleashing them like a raging river, the Marxists believe they can take out a key bridge over which black and white Americans of my generation found a way to express commonality and community in family values. In one fell swoop these diabolical Marcusians undermine the family, male authority and the goal of racial harmony.

Okay, you can start laughing again.

So apparently a “Marxist” is someone who fights against injustice against blacks as well as against drugging and raping women? Lively makes a strong case for Marxists being the good guys here.

    America is rich in lunatics.

Someone should send Lively a copy of

Hickey and Boggs or Uptown Saturday Night. It would disabuse his fantasy that Cosby made nothing but family entertainment that made clueless white guys like Lively comfortable.

  • dingojack

Wait now – Herman Cain and Clarence Thomas were lynched?!? Nope it seems, contrary to Lively’s fevered fantasies, both are still alive and well… (‘Wordz what doZ they meen?’)

Marxists? Fellow travelers? Did we just travel back in time to the 50’s? Except for Groucho’s descendents, I don’t think there has been a Marxist for 40 years.

So he mentions “deep-rooted feminist resentments” and “male authority” in the same paragraph without having himself question why feminists have any resentment.

Um…he was being “brave” about bashing other black people for YEARS before this. (Not sure why it’s suddenly considered “brave” to bash poor people when you’re rich.) And the “race war in Ferguson” was going on long before the charges came out. This “coincidence” is no less made-up than anything else Lively has said.

If he actually believes this, why does he spend so much time attacking gay marriage which has not been proven to do anything bad? Oh, right, IOKIYAAB.

  • dugglebogey

Why do people, especially conservative people it seems, like to equate “saying bad things about in the media” to physical violence?

Saying that people are trying to “lynch” Bill Cosby does a pretty terrible disservice to people who were actually physically lynched.

Cosby is not only going to keep his estimated $450,000,000, he will not be imprisoned or physically harmed in any way for what he has been accused of doing by more than a dozen people.

If I ever commit a serious crime, I hope I get as “severely punished” as Bill Cosby is.

  • caseloweraz

Scott Lively: Indeed, If I were Mr. Cosby’s adviser, I would encourage him to turn the tables on his attackers. Take their siege tower and turn it into a platform for his own message on authentic black empowerment, especially in the wake of the revenge-assassination of the two police officers in New York City.

Yes, capture the Marxists’ siege tower that’s unleashing a raging river of feminist resentment that threatens to take out a key bridge spanning America’s yawning racial divide and sweep away America’s cultural melting pot [and also take a thinly veiled swipe at the sacred cows entrenched in naval circles.]

Because there’s a bad moon rising.

Why not? If Lively had his druthers, he would like to have society return to the 50s … the 1550s!

So, in your view, all irresponsible African-Americans are poor? It’s inconceivable to you the concept of a non-destitute irresponsible African-American?

“Innocent until proven guilty is still an important principle in our law”

but only for accused rapists, not for gay people in Uganda, right, Shitely?

Cosby isn’t bridging any racial gap; he’s telling white right-wingers what they want to hear: that racism and discrimination aren’t the problem, but that “black culture” is. (I put black culture in quotes because I imagine that everybody has a couple subcultures they fall into, like sports culture or geeky subculture. Black culture is probably too broad to make sweeping statements about)

    “It’s ‘lynch mob justice'”

As if Shitely gives a damn about lynchings. I suspect that piece of shit wants gay Ugandans lynched; the bastard just doesn’t want to admit it.

So, for the record, this fundie fascist filth hates gays, feminists, anybody to the left of Ayn Rand, but admires accused rapists and sexual harassers such as Thomas (one of our worst Supreme Court justices) and Cain. Now Shitely just has to show some anti-Semitism I bet he’s hiding.
