‘Prophet’ Makes His 2015 Predictions

Michael Bresciani, a self-declared “prophet,” has an article at Christian Post laying out his predictions for 2015. They include a total economic collapse, a very specific prediction, and things like a “spirit of lawlessness” at home and abroad, a meaningless prediction that can’t be confirmed or disproven.

In the coming year few new predictions are slated for the United States. The focus will soon be Europe and the political changes there will not be noticed until after the 2015 Euro elections are finished.

The U.S. economy is absolutely set to crash if not slide into its last hurrah. Jobs, new businesses and corporate profits will show declines. Obama’s economic policy, started in 2008, will bear fruit in his lame duck years from which there will be little to no recovery. Racial distractions the promised new warfare with the newly elected republican congress and senate will fuel distraction, but provide little economic relief. The predictions are dire.

If this doesn’t happen, according to Deuteronomy, we get to kill you, right?

Even as markets and corporate earnings begin to show decline radicalism, rebellion and general lawlessness will take Obama’s cue and begin its debut both at home and around the world. From Bush’s drive to increase police and law enforcement to the recent cry of protestors in NYC to produce “dead cops” only someone living on a remote desert isle could not see the spirit of lawlessness beginning to flower.

Under the Obama administration we have gone from the petted slogan “don’t let a good crisis go to waste’ up the ladder to “why not just create our own crisis to keep the nation off balance.”

We can analyze Obama’s policies till the cows come home to see what they mean. A shorter route would be to examine what they are not.

For example, race riots and race baiting are not the protests of the sixties. Opening our borders to anyone at any time is not “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.” Bailouts and battles with coal and other energy companies are not free enterprise, but it is welfare for corporations. ObamaCare is not assurance against bad health it is a disease in its own right that promises to leave the nation in death and disarray if not thrown out or seriously modified.

Battles with congress are not bipartisanship they are instability, confusion and lawlessness at best. Worst of all, the continuation of abortion policies and the striking down of marriage between one man and one woman is not social progress – it is moral decay and perversion. In God’s eyes it is intolerable and it will lead to his action against the nations who are calling it progress.

Who cares what Obama’s legacy will be – what about America’s future. Worrying about how Barack Obama will fare in his lame duck years is nonsense and distraction compared to the question of whether America will have any years left when he finally leaves office.

Those with only a scarce understanding of Biblical prophecy know that the spirit of lawlessness precedes the coming of the “Lawless” one. (2 Thess 2: 3) The warning stages for this prophecy are behind us as we enter 2015 – it has already begun.

This is just gibberish, which makes it a very safe prediction.

Opening our borders to anyone at any time is not “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.”

Um. No. No, of course, that’s not what it means. I mean sure, it sounds like exactly the same thing, but honestly it’s not. Because. Because…

Because they forgot the rest of the words, thats’s it. Right, here they are:

Give me your hungry, your tired your poor I’ll piss on ’em

that’s what the Statue of Bigotry says

Your poor huddled masses, let’s club ’em to death

and get it over with and just dump ’em on the boulevard

Whew! That was a close one.

I predict self-titled prophets will continue to write atrocious, purple prose and use mixed metaphors. Or perhaps I should say, the spirit of bad writing will rear up on its hind legs and bear fruit.

You can feel the seething and (totally irrational) hatred in every word.

Obama’s economic policy, started in 2008

He took office in 2009, genius. There you go: a prophet who can’t even get the past right.

Obama’s economic policy, started in 2008, will bear fruit in his lame duck years from which there will be little to no recovery.

Um, 58 months of continuous job growth, highest economic growth rate among Western economies, unemployment below 6 % and the stock market hitting new highs. Those are the fruit borne from Obama’s economic policies – and the natural business cycle.

Opening our borders to anyone at any time is not “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.”

As Johnny Vector noted, this is pretty much exactly what Ms. Lazarus meant when she wrote the poem, and the US pretty much did take anyone who showed up at Ellis Island in those days. Sure you could be sent back if you were lame, or insane, or had certain infections, but that was about it.

There shall, in that time, be *rumors* of things going astray, errrm, and there shall be a great confusion as to where things really are, and nobody will really know where lieth those little things wi – with the sort of raffia work base that has an attachment. At this time, a friend shall lose his friend’s hammer and the young shall not know where lieth the things possessed by their fathers that their fathers put there only just the night before, about eight o’clock. Yea, it is written in the book of Cyril that…

Now, THAT is how you prophesy!

Republicans were blaming Obama for the 2008 economic crisis even before he was elected.

“Sure you could be sent back if you were lame…”

Whoa! Sorry broski, can’t let you in. You are way too lame. Lose the suit and take this Mountain Dew 6-pack. Come back in a week when you are X-treme!

So, his predictions are all about how to make Obama look bad. (yawn…)

By the way: “(2 Thess 2: 3)” Why not spell out the name of the Bible book? It’s not as if he’s short of space. He wasn’t using Twitter.

What about that, Michael Bresciani? (Or should I say Michael Bres?)

    Bible quote irony?

2 Thessalonians 2:3 King James Version (KJV)

    3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

I also like the fact that he’s repeating the Fox News lie that protesters in New York were calling for “dead cops”. Once again, conservative Christians show a great affinity for lying, despite the fact their own holy book condemns it.

Even as markets and corporate earnings begin to show decline[,] radicalism, rebellion and general lawlessness will take Obama’s cue and begin its debut both at home and around the world.

For want of an editor, a comma was lost. For want of a comma a sentence was lost…

Not to mention subject-verb agreement (“radicalism, rebellion and general lawlessness” vs “its”.)

English teachers across the country are weeping tonight.

Battles with congress are not bipartisanship they are instability, confusion and lawlessness at best.

Somebody who has no understanding of democracy, which isn’t terribly surprising. (Translation: House ni***r needs to do what Massa tells him and stop being uppity and arguing.)

Bailouts and battles with coal and other energy companies are not free enterprise, but it is welfare for corporations.

Even a stopped clock can be right twice a day. Still having problems with that subject-verb agreement, though.

ObamaCare is not assurance against bad health it is a disease in its own right that promises to leave the nation in death and disarray if not thrown out or seriously modified.

All evidence to the contrary, of course. Is “prophet” a synonym for “seriously deluded whackaloon” in this context? Commas? Periods? Clearly optional things that could never improve the clarity of anyone’s writing. Where does it say that “prophecy” means “run-on sentence?”

Doesn’t this dude know what the Bible says about fortunetellers?

“Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.” — Leviticus 19:31.

What is with the religious rights obsession with race war?

#5 cptdoom: “Um, 58 months of continuous job growth, highest economic growth rate among Western economies, unemployment below 6 % and the stock market hitting new highs. Those are the fruit borne from Obama’s economic policies – and the natural business cycle.”

A cynic would say it’s the result of government paralysis stopping anyone from actually implementing a policy.
