Glenn Beck Exposes Another Fiendish Plot

You know, life would be a lot easier for the Secret Muslim Kenyan Marxists of the world if only Glenn Beck was not around to expose their evil plots to the world. You can fool most of the people most of the time, but you can’t fool this guy. He knows why you support an increase in the minimum wage:

After co-host Stu Burguiere told Beck that the real goal of the progressives who first purposed the creation of the minimum wage was to price the unskilled underclass completely out of the labor market in order to control and eliminate them from society, Beck realized that efforts today to raise the minimum wage share a similarly dastardly agenda.

“All revolutions need the youth,” Beck said, arguing that progressives are encouraging all students to go to college in order to saddle them with debt which they will then be unable to pay off because they can’t find jobs. At the same time, immigrants and others in the “unskilled labor force” will also be unable to find jobs because the minimum wage increase has eliminated entry-level positions.

“Then you have a whole population that is ripe for unrest. You have a whole population ready for revolution,” he said. “I would find that hard to believe that you would have somebody like Hillary Clinton want to do that, but she is a lover of Saul Alinsky and that’s Saul Alinsky one hundred percent. But you look at somebody like Barack Obama who sat there and listened to the ramblings of literally a madman — Jeremiah Wright — there is a possibility that he knows exactly what he’s doing.”

“They’re only trying to raise this minimum wage not because they believe it is going to help people,” Beck declared, “but because it will lead to unrest.”

And they would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for those pesky wingnuts.

And here I thought making college unaffordable and saddling grads with unpayable debt was more a Republican/conservative thing.

Yeah, slaves and underpaid and exploited laborers NEVER cause unrest, amirite? Oh wait, I’m not. Never mind…

How is Glenn Beck not off in a corner of a bar, sitting in a stained parka muttering to himself?

  • dugglebogey

I read somewhere that no ballot to raise the minimum wage has ever failed to be approved by voters.

Yet we rarely ever have the opportunity to vote on them. How do we even pretend this is a democracy?

You can’t have The People voting themselves Free Money, silly. That’s for Job Creators and other Corporate Citizens.

D’OH! He’s on to us guys.

Oh well, guillotines are already in transit so…too late to change plans now.

I thought that poor, desperate, hopeless conditions created a whole population ready to recognize that God needs to be in charge and thus ripe for conversion. Get your narrative straight, Beck. You’re a Mormon, for crissake. It’s not a fiendish plot if it might swell the numbers of the saved.

If the roll-out of those damn FEMA camps weren’t taking so long, trouble makers like Beck would have already been rounded up and breaking news stories like this would have been kept under wraps. Its almost as if Obama doesn’t want these camps up and running.

But you look at somebody like Barack Obama who sat there and listened to the ramblings of literally a madman — Jeremiah Wright — there is a possibility that he knows exactly what he’s doing.

If not for the “knows exactly what he’s doing” part, one could substitute “Jim Bob” for Obama and “Glenn Beck” for Jeremiah Wright and have an accurate statement.

arguing that progressives are encouraging all students to go to college in order to saddle them with debt which they will then be unable to pay off because they can’t find jobs.

Funny, strong wages in the blue collar sector would reduce the need for a college education in order to maintain middle class prosperity. The large and growing disparity in wages is what’s causing the push for college. Does Beck really think that reducing wages for the nondegreed will result in less people getting degrees?

immigrants and others in the “unskilled labor force” will also be unable to find jobs because the minimum wage increase has eliminated entry-level positions.

…and there you get to the core of the bigotry. They think unsklled labor should never earn any more than entry-level wages. ‘That brown person should only earn as much as my high school teen does on his winter break. If they earn more, it’s socialsm!’

After over 80 years of the minimum wage destroying the unskilled underclass we still have an unskilled underclass. That’s government work for you.

Nice job–he got in the obligatory Hillary/Alinsky Obama/Wright references in his rant
