Gheen’s Latest Unhinged Anti-Immigration Diatribe

William Gheen, the incredibly racist head of the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (which really should be named the Americans Against Immigration PAC), is an expert in delivering unhinged screeds against immigration, but the one he gave on the Voice of Christian Youth America radio show is a whole new level of stupid. He starts out with the usual nonsense:

Gheen told host Vic Eliason that when President Obama’s executive actions on immigration take effect, it will be the “death of the United States” because “five, 10, 15 million illegals will then begin to dominate over conservatives in U.S. elections” and “vote for the people that are going to tax and debt American citizens to pay for their cell phones, to pay for their health care, to pay for their education, to pay for the entire socialist state of America that are wrapped around these people.”

“They walked out of Third World poverty jungle conditions in Peru and Honduras and are now living high off the American taxpayer, just like Obama’s aunt Zeutuni Onyango was doing, and they’re going to vote Democrat,” he said.

He added that even liberals will soon “be dismayed to see the things that they cared about denigrated and destroyed by these waves of illegal immigration, but at that point there will be no conservatives to empower anything that will help them get out of the mess. So basically this is the death of the United States, this is the end of the republic to which most of us have sworn allegiance to.”

*yawn* Come on Bill, you gotta do better than that if you want to keep my attention. That’s just your usual stump speech.

“The Democratic socialists, when they take over, turn the whole country blue with this new army, they’re going to give the illegal immigrants badges, they’re going to give them guns, and they’re going to put them in positions of authority over Americans in every way imaginable. So when you step out your door and there’s a knock at the door, you’re going to be looking at the new face of the state, which is the prior illegal immigrants that now have a badge and a gun and dominion over you,” he said.

When Eliason cautioned him that “some are saying you’re taking this too far,” Gheen responded that that’s just because “they don’t like people like me because I’m a center-right, Christian, heterosexual male, and I am enemy number one in every commercial and movie that you see right now. They don’t like the way the United States has been, they don’t like the constitution, they don’t like the courts, they prefer the social justice movement over the rule of law in this country.”

“And they see that the way to take over the United States is to bring these people in here, legalize them, and once they’re legalized they’re going to start hiring them and putting them in positions of power over you in the federal government with badges and guns and then they’re going to make new laws which you’re not going to like, but it’s not going to matter,” he said.

“And when you go out and you find yourself pulled over on the side of the road, a prior illegal immigrant’s going to be walking up to your car with a badge and a gun.”

Yes! That’s better! Obama is going to bring in millions of illegal immigrants, make them cops and then have them arrest Christians! Never mind that those people are overwhelmingly Christian themselves. And that this is just plain loony. Way to bring the stupid, Bill. I’m proud of you.

they don’t like people like me because I’m a center-right, Christian

Billy, you couldn’t see the center if you used the Hubble Space Telescope.

So when you step out your door and there’s a knock at the door…

How does this “sequence” stuff work again…?

  • eric

once they’re legalized they’re going to start hiring them and putting them in positions of power over you in the federal government with badges and guns and then they’re going to make new laws which you’re not going to like

Well, yeah. Newly minted citizens are allowed to work in federal, state, and local government (including the police), run for most offices, and so on. But it’s nice of you to make it clear that your anti-immigration position is really thinly veiled racism.

  • Sastra

Why yes, because there’s nothing liberals like more than guns — unless it’s a police department with ultimate power and control in using them. Pretty much defines the modern liberal.

  • karmacat

so he is afraid that minorities are going to be doing what “his kind” has been doing for decades. He should have gone all the way and say immigrants are going to make white heterosexual males slaves.

  • abb3w

Wait, he thinks there’s only 15 million conservatives left in the US? Maybe by “conservative” he means “people as or more racist than me”. Also…

they’re going to give the illegal immigrants badges, they’re going to give them guns, and they’re going to put them in positions of authority over Americans in every way imaginable

    Tell it to officer O’Malley.

  • blf

Wait, he thinks there’s only 15 million conservatives left in the US?

In a sense, he may not be that far off. Guessing a bit:

There’s c.200M registered voters in the US.

About half bother to vote in a presidential election: 100M.

Around 20% always vote wingnut: 20M.

15M isn’t so far from 20M, taking into account that all of the above numbers are fairly crude.

  • karmacat

Actually, the illegal immigrants will be saying, “we don’t need no stinkin’ badges.”

  • theguy

“they don’t like people like me because I’m a center-right”

    Fascist…

    “Christian”

    Fundamentalist

    “heterosexual male”

Homophobic and misogynist. What’s not to love?

“and I am enemy number one in every commercial and movie that you see right now.”

If you are a theocrat, then you are an enemy of the Constitution.

“They don’t like the way the United States has been”

Duh. Our past human rights record has been very hypocritical.

    “they don’t like the constitution”

    Bzz! Wrong!

    “they don’t like the courts”

I thought the fundies didn’t like the courts, especially the ones legalizing gay marriage.

“they prefer the social justice movement over the rule of law in this country”

Funny how dipshit assumes these goals are mutually exclusive. In reality, fundamentalists prefer the theocratic movement over the rule of (secular) law.

this “americans for legal immigration” is like a pro war on drugs organization calling itself “american for legal marijuana”.

  • sigurd jorsalfar

So which is it? Is 15 million illegals going to be the death of America, or gays marrying each other? Or will it be …. 15 million illegals gay marrying each other!!! The horror!

  • sigurd jorsalfar

this “americans for legal immigration” is like a pro war on drugs organization calling itself “american for legal marijuana”.

Actually, no. It’s like a pro war on drugs organization calling itself “Americans for Legal Drug Use”. Think about it.

…The new face of the state, which is the prior illegal immigrants that now have a badge and a gun and dominion over you.

And this is different from what we have now how?
