Ben Carson Loves Gay People, Lets Them Use His Bathroom

Ben Carson was invited to talk to Al Sharpton’s National Action Network and then did an interview afterward with Buzzfeed in which he declared that he “loves all gay people” even though he compares them to pedophiles and they’re part of a “new world order” that seeks to destroy America and turn it communist.

“I don’t hate gay people; I just happen to believe that marriage is between a man and a woman,” told the audience to some applause…

How would Carson react if one of his sons were gay? “I would still love him, just like I love all gay people,” he said. Would attend his wedding, though, should he choose to marry another man? He was less sure (“I don’t know”). But, Carson had a question in response — is there a place for same-sex marriage opponents?

“What I would ask — I think, maybe BuzzFeed can get an answer to this question: What position can a person who believes in traditional marriage, between one man and one woman, have, who has absolutely no animosity or opposition to gay people – what position can they take that would be satisfactory to the gay community?” he asked. “Because if they can give me an answer to that, I’m quite willing to seriously consider it. But so far I haven’t been able to find anybody who can give me an answer — it’s sort of like, ‘Nope! It has to be my way or the highway.’”

I know, right? Just like those uppity black people refused to “tolerate” any position short of equality. I mean, they refused to accept the “satisfactory” compromise that would have allowed lunch counters and other businesses to refuse to hire or serve them in the name of religious freedom. That terrible Martin Luther King thought it had to be his way or the highway! How dare he! As for Carson’s alleged love for all gay people, let’s review some of his past statements:

Carson has linked gay rights advocates to supporters of pedophilia and bestiality, attacked LGBT-affirming churches as offensive to God, demanded that Congress oust judges who back gay rights, and accused gay people of seeking “extra rights” and creating a powerful “P.C. police who have tried in many cases to shut me up.”

Speaking at a National Organization for Marriage fundraiser, he insisted that gay marriage is a communist plot designed to bring down America and usher in a “New World Order.” However, Carson said he would no longer discuss gay rights issues after he received criticism for telling a CNN host that prison sex proves homosexuality is “absolutely” a choice.

I love you all, every one of you pedophile animal fuckers who want extra rights because you work for the New World Order and are trying to turn American into a Marxist hellhole. Love — you keep using that word…

    1. Join a church, temple, mosque or big ominous looking rock of your preference that only does marriages between one man and one woman.

    2. Avoid taking a job or starting a business that involves providing a service to people getting married.

    3. Accept that your belief that a god does not recognise certain marriages is completely unconnected to whether the law should recognise them.

“Love” = “stay in the closet and we won’t stone you to death throw you in jail … as long as you are a good homo!”

I can answer that one. They should take the position that same sex marriage in know way harms or damages the traditional marriage they believe in, and that they should therefore support it.

This demonstration of hatred while falsely claiming to be loving is standard issue conservative Christian behavior. It has been for at least many decades.

I don’t know, the Catholic attitude towards remarriage by divorced people comes to mind. The position that says “even though my church is against this relationship and won’t sanctify it, I still recognize the legal authority of the couple’s marriage license and won’t discriminate against them.”

For me, Carson has quickly become the most insufferable of the anti-gay bigots. And in the Republican field, that’s quite an achievement.

[W]hat position can they take that would be satisfactory to the gay community?

Pretty simple, really. If you don’t believe in gay marriage… then don’t get gay-married. Otherwise, mind your own damn business.

What position can a person who believes in traditional marriage, between one man and one woman … take that would be satisfactory to the gay community?

Well, they MIGHT be willing to make gay marriage optional. It is a stretch, but there is a slim chance the gayhomos might allow that. They won’t like it, but they might be able to live with it.

I’m not gay but I’ll gladly take a dump on Ben Carson if it’ll help.

I know he’s a brain surgeon and all, but I feel like I’m listening to simpletons on this topic. Being “for” traditional marriage no more requires being against SSM than liking pizza requires hating hamburgers. It’s a vapid and idiotic position.

Nobody taking this position is in fact doing so in support of traditional marriage. They are doing so in support of the EXCLUSIVITY of traditional marriage. In other words, in opposition to non-traditional marriage.

I’m for traditional marriage. Hell, I’m in one. Not my first either. I’m so for it, I came back for seconds. But if someone else prefers pizza I cant see why that should diminish the joy I get from eating my hamburger. It’s not like hamburgers are going away any time soon because 1/10th of the population would rather have a pizza. Sheesh.

When gay marriage becomes mandatory I got dibs on Channing Tatum. I may change my mind at any minute, though.

Benny, just go back 60 years, look up “interracial marriage” and substitute “gay” for interracial and see how concordant the rhetoric is to the current debate and your position. As a matter of fact, interracial marriage was not only prohibited but a criminal offense, in most cases, a felony

FUCK THAT! It’s our way or the highway, where you’ll be run down by the Big Gay Bandwagon!

    IT’S ALL OR NOTHING!

Pick out your same sex partner spouse now! (While there’s still a good selection available.)

What position can a person who believes in traditional marriage, between one man and one woman, have

The missionary position, I suppose. But I wouldn’t try to make that the law … you’d lose too many Christians!

I am neverendingly astounded when a person who has mastered a difficult and highly technical profession that requires knowledge of a multitude of disciplines and is possessed of such delicate manual skills shows themselves to be otherwise so utterly bankrupt.

I don’t think he’ll be cutting into my head anytime soon. Dog nose it might do me some good but, shit, imagine an auto mechanic who claimed that little guys under the hood turned the crank.
