That ISIS Training Camp is Now IN Texas

A couple weeks ago, Judicial Watch claimed, without a shred of evidence, that ISIS had a secret camp just 8 miles from the border of Texas in Mexico. Now according to Rep. Dave Brat, who is clearly gunning for a spot in the House Moron Caucus, it’s actually IN Texas.

Apparently referring to a debunked report from a right-wing group about an ISIS camp near the Texas border, the Virginia Republican told Humphries, “In our country, now it looks like we have an ISIS center in Texas now that’s been reported last week.”

Brat also warned of “2,000 un-vetted people coming across the border from Syria, the home of ISIS.” The U.S. is planning to admit 2,000 refugees from Syria’s civil war this year, who will be screened by the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security.

“You can’t make up what a terrible problem this is,” he said, “and the political parties are just blind to it because the money, it causes blinders on their eyes. They can’t see reality clearly.”

Wait, what? They’re getting paid money to let terrorists into he country? Do tell. Where is the money coming from? Which of your fellow Republicans are on the payroll? Oh, there I go expecting quaint things like evidence and logic and stuff. I gotta stop doing that. Think about this. He’s actually claiming that there is an ISIS training camp in Texas, that both parties know about it, and are doing nothing about it. Because that just makes total sense, doesn’t it?

Where are the Texas Rangers when you REALLY need them. Somebody call Walker, you know , the guy who get’s shit done.

  • http://www.facebook.com/eo.raptor.3 eoraptor

Was mainstream news so damaged by Watergate that they’re incapable ridiculing somebody this inane? I suppose this is just one little incident, but added up across the country, this insanity is beyond belief. I realize, of course, that most of the sheeple don’t, and won’t, care, but it seems the majority of the not-brain-dead should be laughing this guy into retirement.

  • colnago80

This is the guy who ousted Eric Cantor from his house seat and post as Rethglican Majority Leader. Looks like Steve King and Louie Gohmert are going to have competition for biggest whackjob in the House.

  • eric

Clearly the problem here is that Texans need more guns. That would stop those ISIS bastards from setting up shop in their state!

  • John Pieret

it looks like we have an ISIS center in Texas now

Where’s the Texas State Guard? After all, if it’s up to the task of taking on the US Military, surely it can deal with one ISIS camp that’s so small that nobody can seem to find it.

This is a nuclear level, irony event. Please send your meters to the nearest bunker for safe keeping.

  • seashell

I didn’t know we had a border with Syria – that must be special set of maps

  • dingojack

I wouldn’t worry to much about it. According to wingnut geography, the ISIL training-camp will be north of the Canadian border in a few weeks.

It’s really quite simple. The training camp has rockets mounted on the underside, and moves around to avoid being detected (the commandant, a jihadi of German origin named Klinck, phones his location in to the President each day). If NORAD spent less time tracking Santa Claus and more time monitoring our airspace (clearly Santa is a false-flag operation), they would know that right now the camp is just north of Prescott, Arizona.

This idiot is a United States Congressman! Think about that, if you dare. And there are people who voted for him.

    We are so friggin’ doomed.

  • Chiroptera

YOUR NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS may be ISIS members and running a training camp IN THEIR VERY HOME RIGHT NOW!

  • dhall

So . . . maybe that Jade Helm 15 thingie that Texans are so skeered of is really supposed to take care of that ultra secret camp that everyone apparently knows about. See? Obama is already fixin’ to handle it.

  • anubisprime

    Two quibbles amongst many….

    1) Who knew the USA had a border with Syria…thanks Obama!

    2) “You can’t make up what a terrible problem this is,”…err!…yes you can cos you just did!

The only alternative is that Brat is a dumbfuck lying moron…hmmm…decisions decisions!

Warning signs you may be the single most hated man in America: you get beaten in a primary election by a guy from your own party who is this caliber of loon.

That’s because it’s a mobile camp. It’s built on the back of one of Saddam’s old mobile germ warfare labs. Sorta.

David Brat is an economics professor so if this is what he comes up with about ISIS training camps, just imagine how wacky his economic prognostications are

  • raven

About all I got out of this is that it must not be very hard to be an economics professor at Randolph-Macon college.

It also must not be hard to be a loon and get elected from Virginia.

  • psanity

    That’s because it’s a mobile camp.

Not merely mobile, Marcus — my informants inform me that the name of the camp is Brikh-al-dhun. No wonder they can’t find it — keeps vanishing like fog in the glen, uh, arroyo.

  • emc2

I’m sure they will claim that the shooters at the Muhammad Cartoon event came from the camp and use it as proof that is in Texas.

  • moarscienceplz

    They can’t see reality clearly

Whereas Brat couldn’t see reality if they handed him the controls to the Hubble telescope.

  • Pierce R. Butler

emc2 @ # 19: … they will claim that the shooters at the Muhammad Cartoon event came from the camp and use it as proof that is in Texas.

And that one of them being named Elton proves everything claimed about the gay-jihadi alliance.

Look, we have clear evidence that ISIS program related activities are taking place within United States related country-like territories. Somewhere to the north, east, west, and south of Texas state-like related known-unknowns.

  • dingojack

vmanis1 – Don’t Worry. Senators Cruz and Paul have got their beady-eyes firmly fixed on that so-called Santa Claus. (They’ve just got a few Sun-drenched Holiday Locations evil super-secret tropical government lairs to investigate first, but once that’s done…)

Well, the ISIL is claiming credit for the attempted attack on Geller’s meeting in Garland, Tx.

  • gshelley

Wait, what? They’re getting paid money to let terrorists into he country?

I don’t think that is what he is saying. The claim seems to be that the money is for letting people into the country, and the terrorists are taking advantage of this

  • matty1

I too want to see a map of the US/Syria border, I bet it all the main crossings are just marked ‘Obama!’

Dingojack: I wouldn’t worry to much about it. According to wingnut geography, the ISIL training-camp will be north of the Canadian border in a few weeks.

Or in one of America’s western national parks, where — like the millions of terrorists already hiding out there — it will be invisible.

eoraptor & Larry, I’m with you. I want to be able to laugh about this moron, but when I realize that a majority of adults in a district (no matter HOW gerrymandered) actually voted to put this guy into a position of responsibility, I get chills. It is truly terrifying.

Ouch! Good catch. Obviously I’ve been snarking up the wrong tree street.
