More Proof Perkins Lied About Calling for Impeachment

Tony Perkins continues to claim that he never called for the impeachment of Supreme Court justices over their votes in cases involving same-sex marriage, even though we have him on audio saying that we “absolutely” should impeach them when another host says they should be impeached. But Jeremy Hooper now has even more proof, Perkins directly calling for Justice Kennedy to be impeached for his ruling in the DOMA case. You’re lying, Tony. And all of this is a matter of public record.

Of course he’s lying. It’s a team sport, and none of his followers are going to hold him accountable for cheating because they are on the same team.

Well it could be he’s changed his mind – but then if so he should have the decency / integrity / honesty to say so and maybe say why as well.

You forgot “His lips were moving.”

He never called for impeachment. He merely said that we should impeach them. Despite your relativism, you Liberals should at least understand that words mean things, In this case, they mean whatever I want them to mean. If you bring this same vein up to support your arguments, though, I won’t be so forgiving.

Well of course he lies. Lying is just one of those compromises necessary when dealing with dirty hippies and Godless liberals. It shows dedication and a willingness to make sacrifices to the cause, an understanding of deep logic, inner sanctum conservatism, and the need to fake in one direction while advancing in another.

For many on the right their truth of the moment is just another proposition designed to draw or scare the select demographic onto their marks on the stage so the drama will play out as they have written it. The language used is meaningless as a representation of the external reality. It is simply stage management. The play is the thing.

There is a reason why Fred Clark over on Slacktivist always refers to him as “The liar Tony Perkins” and has for many years now.
