Santorum Suddenly Concerned About Anti-Government Rhetoric

During an Iowa campaign stop, Rick Santorum showed a sudden concern about anti-government rhetoric that he’s never shown before while making all manner of extremist accusations about how Obama is trying to destroy America and treating Christians like the Nazis treated the Jews. According to a reporter:

As Right Wing Watch documents, Santorum has been a major source of that anti-government rhetoric, throwing red meat to the base by the barrel routinely. Like when he said that the Affordable Care Act would be America’s “death knell.”

And when he said we were headed toward the government persecuting Christians like the Nazis did to Jews:

You’re worried about anti-government rhetoric? Politician, shut thy own mouth.

No, no, no! He is against anti-government rhetoric, not against anti-Muslim-Commie-usurper-in-the-Whitehouse rhetoric. After all, anti-government rhetoric might slop over onto the true-blue-conservative-non-RINO-Republicans in Congress.

When Republicans are in charge, it’s treason to criticize the government. When Democrats are in charge, Republicans start advocating actual treason.
