Santorum Goes on Klingenschmitt’s Show and Decries Theocracy

In what might be a world record for the creation of irony, Rick Santorum went on Gordon Klingenschmitt’s inane little internet TV show and complained about theocrats not thinking clearly. He was referring to the theocrats in Iran, not to himself or the host of the show.

“I’ve made the case from the very beginning under two presidents that Iran should have an ultimatum put in place, give them a timeframe to open up and dismantle all of their nuclear equipment, decommission it all and remove it from the country,” Santorum said. “If they do not do that, then the United States has to proceed along a path starting with sanctions and ending wherever it happens to end up to make sure that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon.”

In other words, exactly what Obama is doing.

The conservative Christian said Iranians were irrational actors on the world stage due to their religious beliefs.

“Iran will, without a doubt, deploy that nuclear weapon – either against Israel or the United States or some other countries,” Santorum warned. “This is a radical theocracy, (and) it cannot be trusted.”

Yeah, theocrats can’t be trusted. Coincidentally, that’s why I don’t trust Santorum or Klingenschmitt.

Iran will, without a doubt, deploy that nuclear weapon…

Why would they build a weapon and not deploy it? I don’t think that word means what he thinks it means.

Aaaand, there’s another fine irony meter shot to hellangone.

I think he just destroyed all irony meters within 100 miles or so. Even the military grade ones.

Yes, but Santorum would do it without a treaty. More importantly, without Obama.

I did a little digging about the Navy Yard shooting, and couldn’t find any leftist connections (the gunman was reportedly an extreme videogamer, playing “Call of Duty” up to 16 hours straight).

But of course, to anyone as far to the right as Klingenschmitt, 99% of the rest of us qualify as leftists.

Pierce R. Butler, of course he was a Leftist. Does this look like the picture of a, um, rightist to you? Besides, if he was a rightist he could only go on a shooting spree in the Navy Yard if the Navy Yard was in the deep woods, and even then it would be a defensive preemptive killing spree, on account of Obama coming for his guns, giving his neighbors health insurance, or winning an election.

    The remaining 567% are demons.

    “This is a radical theocracy”

… he said, green with envy.
