E.W. Jackson: Charleston Shooting Was About Targeting Christians

E.W. Jackson, the ignorant buffoon who unsuccessfully ran for lt. governor of Virginia last year, joined the chorus of utterly clueless right wingers claiming that Dylann Roof murdered nine people in Charleston not because he was a racist but because he was targeting Christians.

Anti-gay pastor and Fox News contributor E.W. Jackson said yesterday that people shouldn’t “jump to conclusions” that the Charleston shooting was “some sort of racial hate crime.”

Instead, Jackson told radio host John Fredericks that the shooting may have been a result of the “growing hostility and antipathy to Christianity and what this stands for, the biblical worldview about sexual morality and other things.”

For fucks sake, the White Supremacist racist murderer explicitly said he was targeting Black People for being Black People and still, *still* we’re hearing this shit from scumbags that somehow are too incredibly fucked up to know better?!

Ignorant buffoon? This graduate of Harvard Law School, the so-called premier law school in the country?

    Re StevoR @ #1

Jackson, like Allen West, is an Uncle Tom and self-hating Afro-American.

the so-called premier law school in the country?

Don’t blame the school. They aren’t responsible for what walks out their doors once the check clears graduation is over.

Also (& again) what John Stewart says it all so well here :

Not funny, no jokes, confronting, depressing, powerful and true.

Plus what Dana Hunter has to say on her blog too. She is so spot on there.

No but they are responsible for who they let in.

AFAIK, performance on the SAT or LSAT doesn’t measure the applicant’s future potential for nut jobbery. And I’m assuming here Jackson was not enrolled based on considerations for his race because a man with such convictions as his would never accept that so he must have been accepted based solely on his own merits (right?). Nor does the school have access to Obama’s time machine to peer into the future to see what has happened to their students. In other words, there is no Minority Report available to detect pre-disposition for being the kind of asshat Jackson turned out to be.

So, while the school is responsible for their selections, they can’t be responsible for how their education is used or mis-used after the student leaves.

But the NJQ test does. Apparently Ted Nugent has the highest ever recorded score.

Pastor Jackson, another wacko, there are so many of them you can’t step out of you door without tripping over one.

StevoR, people like Jackson say this garbage for the people living inside the Fox News bubble. He knows it’s debunked bullshit, but his viewers don’t, because all they watch is Fox News. Fox News’ very purpose is to peddle right wing lies and to keep its audience tuned in to the lies and tuned off to reality. Plus they get a real kick out of the fact that the rest of us are astounded and outraged at their gall in peddle such debunked and obviously implausible lies. Fox News is a cancer on the body politic.
