Orly Taitz Loses Another Suit Against Obama

Orly Taitz, Donald Trump fangirl and scourge of birth certificates everywhere, has had yet another lawsuit against President Obama dismissed. It’s all due to dark and hidden conspiracies, I’m sure. Or due to the fact that she had no case and is an incredibly shitty lawyer.

A federal judge has dismissed nearly all claims California dentist and attorney Orly Taitz brought against President Barack Obama and his administration.

This is in connection with a federal lawsuit Taitz filed against Obama, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell and the U.S. Border Patrol, Rio Grande Valley Sector.

U.S. District Judge An-drew S. Hanen found the president and other defendants are immune from monetary damages, and are immune from Taitz’s claims they engaged in racketeering. He also dismissed her claim they defamed her character, and he found she lacks standing for her alleged injury as a taxpayer.

Taitz had asked Hanen to order authorities not to move undocumented immigrants to other states, or in the alternative, to deport or hold them in quarantine for two months. She claims they spread epidemics of scabies, tuberculosis, measles, whooping cough, swine flu, dengue fever, the Ebola virus and lice.

Don’t you have to have some character in order to defame it? Taitz is the very bottom of the birther barrel and that barrel is already at the bottom of the Marianas trench.

As to the part of the suit the judge didn’t dismiss:

Taitz also has alleged to suffer from an upper respiratory infection, a cough, which she allegedly contracted from treating undocumented immigrants in her dental practice. Taitz claims she requires the use of an oxygen machine for the rest of her life. She alleged the government’s actions and policies have caused the imminent threat of exposure and future infection from treating undocumented immigrant patients with infectious diseases.

Hanen noted he “cannot yet determine whether the threat to (Taitz) is sufficiently real and immediate or purely speculative for standing purposes unless (she) has the opportunity to at least attempt to connect the dots.”

And toward that end, Hanen directed Taitz to provide the government a list of the undocumented children she treated from June 6, 2014, to Aug. 22, 2014, including the name of the patients, date of each treatment and the reason for each visit.

In turn, the government has to provide Taitz with all the medical records in its possession concerning each immigrant child Taitz treated during this time period.

“Thus, the court is denying any form of relief at this stage of the case. It will consider the merits of any complaints about her own injuries as the case proceeds . . .,” Hanen said.

Any bets she can connect the dots?

So Orly is saying that she’s such a terrible dentist that she doesn’t know how to wear a face mask? Last I checked, that is standard practice in the US.

Also, I’m having a hard time thinking of an upper respiratory infection that would cause a person to need oxygen for the rest of their life. Totally untreated TB? But if she has TB 1) it can be treated and 2) she shouldn’t be seeing patients until she has completed treatment and is no longer contagious.

    Or she’s a massive liar.

  • xuuths

If she’s knowingly treating undocumented immigrants, isn’t she part of the problem? Isn’t she supposed to turn them or something? Doesn’t that make her an accessory after the fact? Shouldn’t an attorney know that? Or is this just another example of her total BS…

    This makes no sense.

An upper respiratory tract infection wouldn’t usually end up with a requirement for oxygen. Your alveoli are in your lungs, not in the passages leading to them.

If she is on oxygen, it could be long standing TB. TB doesn’t move very fast though. It won’t happen quickly and we can treat TB these days. And TB isn’t an upper respiratory tract infection.

With Orly Taitz, who knows what is real? I’m sure she has no idea either.

Cthulhu, this is so vague it is impossible to figure out.

    What is the infectious disease?

    Where did she get it.

    When did she get it.

Why is a cough, an upper respiratory condition, being treated with oxygen?

What is the link between this claimed medical condition, the government, and illegal immigrants?

I suspect this part of the case has as much evidence as she had to prove Obama was a Kenyan born Moslem commie. That is…nothing.

@6 and @8; I particularly liked the bit where she claimed the government’s policy puts her at risk of future infection. Not only did she evidently not wear a face mask while knowingly treated infected dental patients in the past, but she intends to keep doing that in the future…and its all the government’s fault!

Or, as JustaTech says, its just a massive lie.

Don’t be ridiculous, of course she can. Granted, the dots are all from different puzzles on different pages, but that’s just how good she is!

Synfandel says: “Dentist and attorney”? Also dry cleaner and dog groomer?

    .

No, but she is also a real estate agent. I would wager that she excels in that field as much as she does in dentistry and law.

Isn’t there some point where a nutcase like this is declared a vexatious litigant and barred from ever entering a courtroom, except in shackles, again?

It seems to me that Ms. Taitz passed that point a long, long time ago.

She may be a bad lawyer, but somehow I don’t think she is really trying to win. She needs to file the lawsuit to be able to claim to her followers that she is doing something far more than she actually needs to have any actual progress on those lawsuits. Even a bad lawyer would have given up by now without some kind of ulterior motive.

So if I get this right, between June and August 2014 O’rily Tizzy infected immigrant children in her dental practice with scabies, tuberculosis, measles, whooping cough, swine flu, dengue fever, Ebola and lice and she is now suing the Feds because she can’t find her birth certificate?
