The Daren Streblow Comedy Show Mini-Cast 128: Perfume & Cologne, Stacy Pederson & Jim Labriola February 9, 2016

Daren StreblowPerfume and cologne, everybody tries it and everyone puts on too much the first time, why is that?!? Why is it that on the first run everyone applies it with a power sprayer.

They shouldn’t be able to smell you all the way in Cuba! A sign that you’re wearing too much is that you never see a mosquito, and neither have your neighbors.

If I can see it it’s too much!

Shopping for your sweetheart is really no fun because you’re totally at the mercy of the sales person, to find something you like you have to sample smell a dozen fragrances which at the end really leaves you to suggestion and buying the most expensive scents.

Today we have Stacy Pederson!

Stacy shares that she has found that when it comes to gifts there are three types of women. First there is the woman when her husband asks what to get her she replies “Well if you knew me, you would know what to get me.” Stacy jokes these women are usually newly weds. Second type is the hint giver, she’ll give a little bit a help but not go all the way. She’ll say things like “Well I just wish I could have a little more help around the house…” Stacy says that is the year she’ll get the vacuum cleaner. The third woman says to her husband “Hey, the gift YOU bought me, the one I just bought, is in the closet for when you need it.” And these women are called smart!

I ask Stacy is there a universal gift that all women want?
Stacy says women would just love to spend some quality time together.
Have an evening where you get the children together and you would meet in the living room, with no electronics, negativity or complaining. You could watch a movie, one that you own that didn’t stream on Netflix or one no one fought over. You would eat home made food, a have milk and cookies and the dishes would be magically done and the floors clean and all the laundry would be done and folded. It’s a very simple gift according to Stacy.

Next we have Jim Labriola!

I asked Jim to share about his experience being a regular character on the show, Benny. Jim talks about how Tim Allen thought he was one of the funniest comics around and from the day the show premiered he had this role of Benny in mind for Jim to play. Originally the character was going to be named Tommy but as things progressed the name Benny come up and it seemed to fit the character perfectly.

And we wrap up our conversation by talking about his upcoming gig with Colin Quinn’s new show. It’s called Cops Show, online.
