Brother xxxxx,

I read your articles in the Deseret News and listened to your podcast in Mormon Stories.  I have a son who is a returned missionary, married to a returned missionary, married in the Temple, until recently faithful member of the church.  He has now denounced the church saying it has “lied” to him, history is false, etc, mostly due to the Mormon Stories podcasts. What is going on with that?  Is there a place that rebuts t his stuff?  Where do I go to learn what I need to learn to help him?  I know he wants me to listen to Mormon Stories, but I don’t really want to.  I have not enjoyed the stories I have listened to of disgruntled former or pretending Mormons.   Can you suggest something to help this grieving family (my husband (Bishop of a ward) and 5 children and spouses…that are all still stunned and grieving and unbelieving of this turn around.  Please give me any advice you can.
