Hello Rumi Tuesday

man knocking on doors in nature 550x290

Submit to a daily practice.

Your loyalty to that

is a ring on the door.

Keep knocking,

and the joy inside

will eventually open a window

and look out to see

who’s there.

~ Jalal id-din Rumi

Nobody wants to be told they have to do anything.

You don’t have to go to church, or say your prayers, or any of the like.

A spiritual practice is something you do for yourself,

not because you have to

or because anyone says you should.

A practice is a draw,

something that draws you in

closer to the ring on the door

of your heart.

It is a key that helps to unlock

the door of the heart

and release the calling

that cries out to be near

to the Essence of the One.

Find the key that unlocks the door of your heart.

Do it for you!
