Position in Christian Thought at Brisbane School of Theology

At the Brisbane School of Theology – where I formerly taught, great college, wonderful faculty, and students – there is a position for a lecturer in Christian Thought and History.

Here’s the details:

Brisbane School of Theology invites expressions of interest and applications for the position of a full-time lecturer in Christian Thought and History, to begin Semester 1, 2018.

BST is a gospel-centred, evangelical and interdenominational Bible college, which has been training men and women for ministry and mission for the past 75 years. It is committed to providing a formative experience in preparation for a lifetime of Christian service, congregational leadership and cross-cultural mission. Awards for studies undertaken at the college through to doctoral level are accredited by the Australian College of Theology.

The successful candidate will demonstrate mature Christian character, evangelical conviction, a willingness to embrace the mission of BST, proven ability in teaching, preaching and communication, a relevant research degree (PhD/ThD), and ministry experience. As a member of the faculty, they will be expected to participate fully in the life of the community, including chapel, mentoring of students, and leading fellowship groups and short-term missions.

For more information about the college, see www.bst.qld.edu.au. For more detailed information regarding the position, please contact the Principal, Rev Dr Richard Gibson at careers@bst.qld.edu.au. Applications close on Friday October 25, 2017.
