I am composing this blog entry on an iPad. That is all. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
How was writing on the IPad? Would it do for most blog entries? For a full page? For ten pages? Is the IPad experience, mouselessness and padlessness, of a transcendent order? Worth four hundred dollars?
Did you get a bluetooth keyboard or were you using the virtual one? I contemplated buying a bluetooth keyboard for mine, but can't justify the $60 for one.
I will say more about the iPad experience as I get a chance to really try it out properly. But it certainly is a wonderful device on which to read text, watch video, and as for blogging, the keyboard is just fine for short entries – I tried it with one hand. I have yet to try it with the attached keyboard docking station, or even try typing with both hands while the iPad is on a desk.It is a nice device. I'll be saying more about it as I test out what it can and can't do!
I'm commenting on my iPad, while riding a train to Kyoto at 300 km/h and watching the scenery flash by. Isn't technology great?
