Comments

One of the interesting aspects of the move to Patheos has been learning the ropes of the comment system Disqus. There are some things that I can control, and some things that each person can set up as their individual preferences. But since I see the comments as an administrator, I may not realize which things only I can see and which ones you can too. There are also differences in how Disqus appears and performs on different browsers.

So I’m posting this simply to ask for feedback. What works well? What don’t you like? If there is something that you don’t like, does it seem to be something that I could change? And if so, any suggestions about how would be welcome!

Not being able to cut and paste easily from Word is inconvenient.

I ticked the box for e-mail notifications when I commented last night, but I have only gotten a couple of them.

It has been really wonky. The reply still kicks it down to the bottom, the widow to write doesn’t adjust as i go past it, so i have found it easier to put something in and edit later. I haven’t tried cut and paste yet, but just now the edit wasn’t available to me and it won’t let me use my Facebook log in. I’m sure you will be able to get all this under control. new stuff.

I think that trying different browsers is a good idea, FWIW.

@Vinny, I had to add notifications*@Disqus.net to my spam filter’s list of approved sites. Then I went from getting almost nothing to getting them all.

I’ve had a few issues with comments myself, but so far nothing that didn’t have a close equivalent on Blogger.

Can you see the option to order posts newest to oldest or vice versa, or can only I see that?

I’m speechless. This is a superb
blog and very attractive too. Great work! I remember using this app years ago
when I first started jogging around my neighborhood and wondered how far I
actually ran. Sure, there are more feature rich applications online today but
this probably inspired most of them. If you prefer a streamlined way to measure
the distance of your running routes over the fancy bells and whistles of other
sites, then this site may be for you. There usually are extremely couples of
individuals who can write not so easy articles that creatively. Keep up the
    good writing!!
