From Revelation to Genesis

Different people have different choices when it comes to music for the apocalypse.

The song I’ve chosen to share for the occasion (it is already May 21st in some parts of the world) is “Undertow” by the band Genesis, because of the appropriateness of some of the lyrics.

OK – I just posted a bunch of rapturous things beginning with an allusion to G&S and ending with the Beethoven Benedictus – sorry about the non blog list on my blog – I had trouble with it and dropped it. Maybe it is fixed now.

When I saw the reference to the time signature, I guessed that my mention of Genesis might resonate with you!

Anyone going to college in the 60′s has to say the music from Kubric’s 2001, A Space Odyssey. Add the chimps with the bone drums, and a free trip to Jupiter, and we can close out the universe in great Camping fashion (although that might be indirectly supporting evolution, I don’t know). Camping is a ID guy.
