    Actually, nothing supports the reality of the life of Jesus better than the Gospels. We live in the Kinko’s, internet world and are outraged at discrepancies. These guys spent years after his death, living (hiding) in different cities and set them down or dictated them near the end of their respective lives.
    Yet no important contradictions. None. For ancient history especially, that is very telling.
