Why You Should Update to iOS 7

The image above reached me via Brian LePort on Facebook. I did upgrade recently, but since I hadn’t been using Apple Maps to navigate on the go, I didn’t get to experience its shortcomings – as evidenced by the fact that I am still alive. But I do like the elimination in iOS 7 of the limit on space within folders.

What have you noticed about the update that you like?

Updated at first chance available, and froze up in the middle of the upgrade. Had to go to the apple store to get a re-load, and then had to restore my settings with iTunes. The tech at Apple said it is better to wait a week or two to upgrade, to avoid any deadly bugs in the upload process.i’d suggest backing up first, and doing the upgrade at a convenient time when phone access in not manditory. Given that hassle, I like 7.0 better. May be my imagination, but the wifi portion seems to stay connected better and more stable.

I’ve often had hiccups when upgrading. I think this is the first time that it went smoothly and I didn’t need to restore everything from backup!
