Be Friends With Failure

The inspirational comic in the series Doodle Alley by Stephen McCranie, “Be Friends With Failure,” deserves to be shared widely. It focuses on a very basic truth, but which many never learn, and as a result, they give up because they aren’t immediately good at something, rather than realizing that failing frequently is the only path to success. Oh my, I can’t even get failure right, why can some people fail so well, when I can’t even get by learning a new skill without self-loathing. I’m a terrible excuse for a human being.

It’s a great comic. I find it very hard to fail at anything. Giving up seems the obvious thing to do.
