Square Peg, Round Hole

My pastor mentioned in his sermon this past Sunday that you can in fact put a square peg in a round hole.

It just does a lot of damage, to both the peg and the hole.

There’s a lesson in that.

Also interesting is that there is no point whatsoever filling a hole with a peg that fits. The peg should always be bigger than a hole, so the compression holds it together.

I’m sure there’s a deep point in there too.

Well you can make a square peg fit in a round hole if the square peg is small enough. This way you have a lot of wiggle room. :)
