Reminds me of a joke I heard:
They interviewed the winner, who said, “And thank you Jesus for the win!”
Then the runner-up was interviewed. He said, “Well, obviously I would have won if it wasn’t for Jesus stopping me.”
Which leads to my thought: If God helps with performances, then I’ve sometimes wondered if God should be excluded from sports, like they do with drugs. So any athelete who prays for a win should be given a one-year ban for trying to get an unfair advantage!
Indeed, although I personally am more worried about the provision of divine insight on assignments as a form of academic dishonesty in schools and universities.
