Four Part Harmony

I came across the cartoon below, which seems to be neither funny nor accurate. I’m tempted to start a four-part a cappella vocal group called “The Moseses” in which we wear shirts that say “J,” “E,” “D,” and “P” and sing separate strands of the Pentateuchal narrative, just to show that it works just fine, even in that cartoonish version.

There is a sense in which this might be true. J,E,P, and D don’t always blend seamlessly. Despite the final redactors’ best efforts, narrative elements are sometimes jarring and discordant.

No, I’m trying to hard. You’re right. The cartoon is lame.

    Please do start that group.
you could harmonize Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as well.
