Lent Post Round-Up! A Progressive Christian Lent at Patheos

Lent Post Round-Up! A Progressive Christian Lent at Patheos February 9, 2016

“God needs nothing, asks nothing, and demands nothing, like the stars. It is life with God which demands these things… You do not have to sit outside in the dark. If, however, you want to look at the stars, you will find that darkness in necessary. But the stars neither require nor demand it.” — Annie Dillard

Another Lenten season begins this week, bringing with it another chance to turn our hearts and minds toward a deeper relationship with our God. We may fast, we may intensify our prayer life, we may repent, we may take on a specific spiritual practice — all in the service of letting go of what distracts us from drawing closer to the source of Love.

Here at the Progressive Christian Channel, our faithful pastors, scholars, spiritual directors, and everyday folk will be blogging through the season, and we”ll keep a link round-up live here so you can keep up with all the great posts at Patheos! Blessings on your own sacred Lenten journey toward the Cross.
