Expelled co-writer plays evil scientist!

Kevin Miller, who co-wrote the documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, has turned to acting — and one of his first assignments was playing Lex Luthor, or at least a reasonable facsimile thereof, on the TV show Smallville.

Miller has blogged about his role here, here, here and here. I suspect his earlier posts on sitting in a make-up chair for some undisclosed production, here and here, were also about this role.

Miller is a long-time comics fan, and has written a number of articles on comic books and superheroes for outlets such as Hollywood Jesus and BC Christian News.

Finally, here is the trailer for this episode, which features Miller fairly prominently:

Man…I haven’t seen Smallville in a few seasons…I was lost trying to follow the trailer. But kudos for Kevin, if I could get a role in a superhero movie…I’d probably take it as well…even Ghost Rider 2.
