Watch: A slightly new version of the second Risen trailer

Various websites are reporting that a new trailer for Risen, which tells the story of the Resurrection from a Roman soldier’s point of view, surfaced this week.

Technically that’s true, but the new trailer is actually pretty much identical to the second trailer, which came out back in August. The main difference this time is that the new trailer takes the new release date on February 19 into account.

Note, incidentally, that the trailer is followed by a ten-second tease for Concussion, the football trauma movie starring Will Smith that opens Christmas Day. Jeffrey Wells reported yesterday that the film, which will have its world premiere at the AFI Fest on Tuesday, “is said to have a strong ‘faith’ undercurrent…whatever that means.”
