I just learned that WingClips, a website that specializes in film clips for sermons etc., has yanked four of the videos that they originally posted from The Young Messiah and replaced them with four new clips, to go with a new “family study guide”.
I have thus updated my scene guide for that film, which has all the currently available clips arranged in narrative order — but you can also watch the new clips below.
First, ‘Not Wanted Here’, in which Jesus raises Eleazar from the dead:
Second, ‘Meeting the Rabbi’, in which Jesus meets Nazareth’s local religious expert:
Third, ‘Face-off with Satan’, in which Satan taunts Jesus while the latter is sick:
Finally, ‘Being Jesus’ Parents’, which is a longer version of the ‘Returning Home’ clip that went online in March (though it ends a few seconds earlier than that clip did):
Meanwhile, via Christian Toto, we also have a clip from the making-of documentary that is included on the Blu-Ray edition of the film, which comes out tomorrow:
