The USA Presidential Campaign & Your Innovative Selection

The USA Presidential Campaign & Your Innovative Selection August 21, 2015

Every time it’s campaign season, I become an avid TV viewer.

For me, the drama is better than most television shows. It includes excitement, surprise, comedy, shock, and the best features of a thriller.

And to balance out the perspectives and biases, I flip through CNN, FOX, MSNBC to the Sunday news programs on CBS, NBC, etc.

I particularly enjoy the interviews with the candidates as well as the debates.

To my mind, some of the candidates are flat and boring. Others are inventive and original. Some are even jarring to watch. And then, of course, there are the regular smackdowns.

Unfortunately (and I have felt this way for many years), there’s no one candidate that impresses me in every area.

Sigh.

For each candidate that I find impressive in some dimensions, I’m unimpressed with other parts of their ole’ bad selves.

Double Sigh.

But sometimes I’m given to dreaming. So let’s dream a bit.

If there was some way to create a composite human being . . . by taking, say, 3 of the candidates (from any or all parties) and blend their strengths together, removing their weaknesses and eccentricities, I believe we’d have a candidate that could very well change the course of this country for the better.

Not “fix” all our problems (which is an impossibility in a fallen world), but certainly, to change the trajectory for good.

So . . . if you could pick 3 candidates from any side of the political isle and form a composite candidate out of them, exemplifying their best qualities, which 3 would they be?

Feel free to list their best traits too, but that’s not necessary. I’m interested in the 3 names. Again, you can choose one candidate from one party and others from another. But the list is restricted to those presently running or those who are rumored to run (e.g., Biden, for instance).
