I believe submitting something you enjoyed on another’s blog is perfectly fine

Well, I don’t have a blog and I wouldn’t call any of my non-fiction writings necessarily atheist either- not even the one where I try to debunk the idea that C. S. Lewis was ever an atheist. That’s two strikes against me. Third strike- none have been in the last two weeks. Oh well. Guess I’m out.

Can we submit something we see that we think is good? Like say, “I saw Suzie’s blog and she had this great thread going on about such and such. I think she and her post X should be included in the C of the G”?

A blog carnival (in this case, a “godless” one) is when people submit their best postings on the subject from the past two weeks to one blogger. That blogger compiles all the postings into one giganto-post.

Carnivals are nice, because they send traffic to smaller sites, and it’s a chance to see what people are writing about a certain topic. There are carnivals for teachers, liberals, etc.

Anyone can submit an entry by going to the submission page (link is in the post above). For the next two weeks, all submissions for the CotG will be forwarded to me so that I can compile the posts in two weeks.

Could someone explain to me what people do at the C of the G? I’ve looked at the one at Hellbound Alleee’s (Not a typo) and this one too, but all I see is a a blog. I don’t get it. And what is this submit entries? It looks like we submit certain blogs with their articles. I truly don’t get it.
