Back from WordPress Hell

You know what’s scary? When your blog stops working for a day and you think everything you’ve written in the past year has been deleted.

Thankfully, I had backup.

And I think the site is back up and functional again, though I’ve spotted a couple glitches that I’ll fix shortly.

It did give me an opportunity to add one helpful addition to the blog. Thanks to Helen‘s suggestion, you now have the option of editing your entry a short time after posting.

So if you double-post, make a spelling mistake, write in all bolds, etc. and you don’t fix it, you’re in even bigger trouble now.

I just finished reading your great book. I have just one comment for you. There are so many religions out there, it doesn’t seem logical to me that after discounting Jainism as false, you would conclude that God doesn’t exist at all without considering other religions as well. That would be like going to one church and saying all the rest are the same, which we both know is not true.

  • I don’t think that Hemant has officially concluded that God doesn’t exist.

Only that he has no reason to believe that a god does exist.

I wrote back the person via Facebook (I received the same message there). Essentially, I said it wasn’t just Jainism that I discounted, it was the very nature of God. If God was out of the picture, most major religions fell by the wayside as well.

And yes, for the record, I’m not saying definitively God doesn’t exist. I’m saying I don’t believe one does.

You may be receiving a double post from me on another thread. Sorry…I got some odd error messages and tried to submit again, and was told I had double-posted.
