    wow…sorry you’re so messed up! i just hope you realize how lost you are and how much God wants you back in his arms! you probably think i’m such a loser, but look at your life. is it really all that great? even if it is…does it mean anything. if you’re rich that’s great…but when you die, what good is money. do you have a really hot girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse? great…but what good is that when you die? do you do drugs? sure, they make you feel nice at the time, but what about after? if you have God, then that lasts past death and it gives you some meaning in your life. it’s someone to live for. it’s someone to love you…always….no matter what. it’s someone watching over you. it’s someone to pray to. i may not know you, but God does and boy does he care! if you become a christian, i probably won’t know. but you will, God will, and you too will be able to change your life and other’s lives

    I mean no offense, but please for your love of God, do not assume that those who do not follow the very fallable words of men who SAY they have the word of God are messed up. I feel sorry for people who blindly follow religion out of fear or confusion of reality.
    I am very spiritual, I do believe there is a higher power of some kind, but no absolutely no one can tell me that there is a set of human rules all must follow to have the love of God. Confidence in yourself and education will guide you towards your own personal understanding of the world around you.

    your sympathy is kind, but unnecessary. I hope you do not fall victim to the brainwashing and I hope you are not taken advantage of by religious manipulation.

    People deserve protection and respect. Ideas don’t.

    Religious ideas, just like political ideas, economic ideas, scientific ideas or social ideas, should be open for discussion, debate, and even ridicule.

    People are real. Ideas are merely the invention of people. Ideas should serve people… people should not be slaves to ideas that “must not be questioned at all costs.”

    No, I don’t think you’re a loser, but I think you’re sadly misguided by those that have taken advantage of your weak minded need for a sky daddy.

    Yes, my life is great, thanks. No, in the grand scheme of things it probably doesn’t mean anything. I’m fine with that. Alternatively, if I was a super genius, I’d probably be out there inventing something that lived on after I died. That, and the impact you have on your children and others around you, is the only “life after death” that exists. Deal with it.

    Fairly well off, but not rich. Thanks for asking. Money is no good after I die and therefore I will spend it during my life on things that are meaningful to me. Why, just today I bought some food for a food drive for thanksgiving dinner for the homeless. It made me feel good to know that I was helping someone else in need, and I didn’t need a sky daddy to guilt me into doing it. Amazing isn’t it? I just gave money without feeling like I HAD to, and without feeling the pressure of eternal hellfire if I didn’t.

    Shut up about the “what about when you die?” thing! Look, when you die, that’s IT. I know that’s not what you want to hear, but seriously, you’re DEAD and there is no afterlife. I’m sorry to be the one to give you the bad news. I’m not afraid of death although I try and avoid it when possible. It seems your massive fear of death is what has led you to require a sky daddy. This is fairly common in people with your “faith”.

    My LIFE is what I live for! I don’t need something AFTER it in order to feel OK about my existence TODAY. I’m sorry your life must suck so much right now…
