as the one who you write about, i can attest to the fact that the ACLU and NYCLU have been supportive of me. i asked many Christians to help, but i received mostly insults and ridicule. it was the NYCLU who alone decided to help.

As a pacifist, I applaud his morals. The story also demonstrates what I’ve always noticed that religion can be used to justify both extremes.

As a pacifist, I shouldn’t exclude those whose pacifism came from a religious liberal background such as Quaker, or other belief.
