And here I thought that man wouldn’t die until they took the TV cameras away. Should have known he couldn’t leave the lime light.

This is just silly. I seem to recall in my youth looking for faces in flames was considered a forbidden occult practice by conservative Catholics. For liberal Catholics it was the kind of thing that was amusing, which none of us believed and which was considered harmless fun.

Will a single person who believes that was JPII visit the prisoner, attend the sick, feed the hungry, etc. as a result?
