The Next Chicago Skeptic Party!

The next Chicagoland party will take place on Saturday night, April 26th at 7:30 p.m.

Brought to you by Elyse at Skepchick:

Galway Arms
2442 N Clark St
Chicago, IL

Last month we had such a blast at Whiskey Road, I promised we would do this again (without the humiliating video games)! And now we are! So meet me, Skepchick Elyse, for a Guitar-Hero-free night of drinking and thinking at Galway Arms in Chicago.

Guitar Hero free?! Woo! I’ll crush you all again.

(Wait… what?)

Hope to see you there!

  • hahahaha! that’s Guitar Hero free, not free Guitar Hero. turns out we’ve all been too busy being not believing in bigfoot and god to master rock star video games.

I was actually at Whiskey Road that day with some friends and noticed you guys had reserved the Guitar Hero section (I waited for you to be done so I could play 🙂 ). I recognized a bunch of you from your talk at UIC but was hesitant to come up and introduce myself. I’ll try to make it to this one and get to know everyone.

  • I knew it. You’re having the party right when my plane leaves. You’re doing it on purpose, it’s all a conspiracy I say!

Drinking with fellow godless heathens, you say? Sounds tempting. This may call for a road trip 😉

  • That is not too far from where I live. It is about 8 blocks south of me. I generally try to avoid anything related to alcohol (growing up with a Vietnam vet boozer for a father will do that to you, if it doesn’t destroy you) and I rarely go into bars. Usually when I do I remember in about five seconds why I do not go.

Hmmm… I have some responsibilities that night that end around 10:30, but I’ll stop by after to see if you guys are still around. Had a good time at the last one!
