Two Things I Love

The Freedom From Religion Foundation and The Onion.

They’ll join forces this Saturday when The Onion‘s editor-in-chief Scott Dikkers is interviewed by Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Gaylor on FFRF’s radio show. The podcast will be available later in the weekend.

Speaking of Dan Barker, the co-president of FFRF will be in Chicago tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 1:00 p.m. speaking at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The event is free to the public and sponsored by UIC-RAFT and CFI – Chicago.

If you haven’t heard him speak about his de-conversion from pastor to atheist, please consider coming. It’s a very powerful story. Dan will also be discussing FFRF activities, lawsuits, and outreach. He may even sing some atheistical songs!
