The Bible says that in the end times there will be mockers of God, idolaters, lovers of pleasures than lovers of God.

Christains have been spouting about the end times since Paul. People have been mocking god and been "lovers of pleasure" for 2000 years. If it hasn't gotten your god riled enough to come back before why would he do it now?

Dr. Dobson is a man of God and so is his wife Shirley who want us to come to the winner, who is Jesus and not become loosers for an entire eternity in hell.

If James Dobson is going to be in heaven I will happily spend the rest of my life in hell.

If you think prayer is effective, google the name of Madeline Neumann.

Elijah, spouting out Bible verses is probably the least effective way of gaining supporters. I'm not swayed by fiction.

The Bible says that in the end times there will be mockers of God, idolaters, lovers of pleasures than lovers of God. If you feel you are in this group God welcomes you. He died for you so you can avoid being judged. For the righteousness of God has been revealed and it teaches us to break free of sin. Romans 1:18 (New International Version)
18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness.

2 Thessalonians 2:3
Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction
2 Thessalonians 2:8
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

Jesus wins in the end. Do not believe the enemy in this forum...he thinks he can divide Christians. Christians are strong in Jesus and Dr. Dobson is a man of God and so is his wife Shirley who want us to come to the winner, who is Jesus and not become loosers for an entire eternity in hell.

God wants you to find Him. In fact He wants you to escape sin and anything that blinds you to live life to the fullest. He doesn't want you to have the fate of the devil. In fact the blood donation is pointless if you only care for your body and let your soul and body be condemned to eternal separation from God and eternal torture. Feel free to give blood but don't ignore your need for God. Please. I plead with you.
Thanks for reading this far.

Ah this is great! We've been praying all along that people would step up and start contributing more to society, and here it is! National Give Blood Day.

Thank God. Our prayers have been answered.

The “Task Force” excludes Jews, Muslims, Catholics and even mainline Christians
Since when are Catholics, (around 24% of the population) not mainline?

*giggle* I do all those things and now I'm annoyed that I can't donate blood on the day itself to demonstrate my support for the Day of Reason -- I'll still have a week to go before I'm eligible again. I think I'm going to have myself a belated day of reason on my own. Maybe I can manage to track down a book by Eugenie Scott or something like that to bring with me.

Hmm. I already donate blood, have been signed up as an organ donor since I was 16, and donate to The Brights, The American Humanist Association, and Atheists and Other Freethinkers of Sacramento as well as many other non-religious charitable organizations. I suppose I could add the Secular Student Alliance. *sigh*

For organ donation - remember it is VERY important to let your family know of your wishes.

Slut said:

Our local evangelicals go to City Hall and read the bible aloud, cover to cover every year. I assume they’re doing it again.

We were planning to get a group of humanists together to also set up in City Hall, and hand out humanist brochures and what not. Maybe read from Cosmos or something. Unfortunately, we are going out of town that week and no one else seems interested in spearheading it. Maybe next year…

For some reason, I sense a bit of irony in this but I don't know why...
