The Trip to Canada

This weekend, I’ll be heading to Toronto to give a lecture on all things friendly and atheistic.

For those who live in the region, it’d be great to see some of you! There will be public gatherings at the places listed below. Feel free to come by, talk, give hugs, bring presents, do an atheist dance for me, or just say hello :)

Friday:

6:00-9:00 p.m. is the actual talk. It is taking place at the University of Toronto: Multi-Faith Center in the Multi-Purpose Room. It’s free!

Saturday:

2:00 p.m. lunch at Bocca on Baldwin. (Which apparently has nothing to do with Stephen Baldwin. Boo.)

8:00 p.m. pub night at the Village Idiot. But if you come, you are so required to buy me a root beer float…*drool*

If anything else pops up on the schedule, I’ll post it.

    Oh man, Hemant, I cannot wait. I’ve seen posters around and have gotten all excited. Will you have copies of your book for reasonable prices there, too?

    I’m glad it’s not going too late, either! Friday’s gonna be a fun night.

    (Also, you should note that the Multifaith Centre page doesn’t list the address, which is in the Koffler building, here)

    I’m busy. But if you get a couple spare hours there’s a kickass event happening in London, just 200km from Toronto!

    Let us back in the USA know if Canada is more atheist-friendly than the USA.

    If so, then I propose a new slogan: “Canada: If the USA stopped trying so hard to be stupid, this is what it would be.”
