I really see now that we, you and I, are atheists in the same tone that we are vegetarian. The questions at the end were very deep, and I thought you responded well. The 24th and last Tirthankara - Mahavira (The Jesus like person of Jainism) was around the same time of Gautam Bhudhdha. The previous 23 Tirthankaras were much before. Thus Jainism is not offshoot of Budhdhism or Hinduism. When I was kid I was taught that Hinduism is in-fact an offshoot of Jainsm.
