I see the difference! The one on the right suggests that men can make good moral judgments without a CSD holding their hands every step of the way. It also suggests that the world will be different a billion years in the future from what it is today… why does that make me more warm and fuzzy than Ray’s “Fixed Species/Morals Come From God” message?

Looking at the chart merely for what it is, it’s surprisingly and refreshingly accurate, especially considering that it’s from the author of the argumentum ad bananam.

Nothing in it is a flat-out lie, and it’s devoid of the usual fundy nastiness like “has no morals”, “baby killer” or “secretly hates God”.

Richard Wade:

His chart is missing two very important phrases. On the left side at the very top, above “The one true God” it should say “Ray Comfort, greatest prophet,” and on the right side it should say at the very top, “Ray Comfort is a colossal asshole.”

Made me laugh.

Comfort? Is that charlatan still around?

I honestly don’t believe he really believes in anything but himself. Oh, and the gawdamighty dollar.

Alternatively, it’s possible Comfort’s head is hollow, and that when he prays he thinks that the echoes are answers from God.

Is it bad that I saw this, and I thought it was a creation of an atheist? I mean, I saw the right and I thought, “Yeah, seeing these two things together really makes the Christian half look silly, ya know?” And then I read that it was written by Comfort, and I was mindblown.

Talk about different perspectives….

See, this is the reason I don’t go after Ray on my blog. The Stupid is just… too… much. I like picking apart theistards’ arguments, but they need to make something resembling an actual argument first!

I’m sure five different people already pointed this out but “judgment” and “judgement” are both correct spellings of the word. Which is good for me as I always spell it “judgement”. It’s more LOGICAL that way.

“Judgement” is just as valid as “judgment”;

Gasp! That’s just the sort of orthographic relativism one wold expect from someone who has “No Moral Responsible To God.”
