The Colbert Report Segment Postponed

I know everyone was excited about watching the Secular Coalition for America‘s Lori Lipman Brown appear on The Colbert Report tonight.

Some bad news: The broadcast of her interview has been postponed.

It looks like it will be airing tomorrow night (in a first-ever Friday night broadcast).

Not sure what the reason for the “Colbert Bump” is, but these things do happen. Hopefully, we’ll get to see the segment tomorrow.

More updates as they come.

  • maybe its got something to with that thing going on in Denver? Some kinda big convention that everyone will be watching on tv instead of Colbert? Probably a good idea to move it to friday.

  • What thing in Denver? Bronco’s NFL pre-season?

    I don’t get it… 😉

    ATL-Apostate

  • Perfect for Friday… the night no one watches TV. Especially The Colbert Report; it’s never new on Fridays, how would anyone know? Oh well, I’ll be watching anyway. 🙂

Those of us with Tivos don’t have to keep up with schedule changes – plus there are tons of re-runs.

I can’t wait for the fightin’ heathens!

I believe Jon Stewart would say “Damn you Colbert”. I was bummed but at least it’s hopefully going to air tonight.

  • Perhaps this is the first time an episode of Colbert has appeared online before being broadcast.

  • …are you sure you got the right week?

No Lori Lipman Brown to be seen. 🙁

  • Scratch all that. My guess is Nori will appear on the 11:30/10:30 timeslot, which is the episode that was originally intended for Friday broadcast. The 8:30/7:30 timeslot is Thursday’s episode (which I just linked to, and which is sadly Noriless).
