In a news broad cast titled how to spend a "trillion dollars with a t" one of the stipulations was if a school took money you could not allow pray on school grounds. This sound to me like the beginning of what he is talking about. but you have to ask you self just because the government is taking away a right that you do not care about does not mean they should do it. I pray they do not take away a right you do care about. Liberal is a 'dirty' word in the U.S. Conservatism is practiced by the present government in an imperialistic way. Christians do not have a monopoly on the entire western world and that includes Canada where Dobson has been, tried to influence Canadians. Didn't work! Focus on the Family, traditional family values, traditional moral/social values...this borders on autocracy, not a democracy. If theists and atheists and apatheists can't live side by side, as absurd as it sounds, we should all live in our own communities where we don't have to apologize for living or be afraid to go about our daily lives. There are l/Liberal C/conservatives and C/conservative liberals. Their thinking isn't uniform or consistent. I don't understand the christian mentality that same-sex anything is a 'threat' to those who conform to mainstream living. Religion has caused a lot of grief beginning thousands of years ago. Death, persecution, harrassment, etc. I guess it's going to be hard for Barack Obama as President, beginning January 20th. to realize that there are same-sex couples, lesbians and gays who want human rights, not civil rights (unions).
